OK, now we are faced with four realities:

 

1. If this passes at the ballot box, no more PC's after Jan 2014. Of course, we will not need precinct committeemen or any other type of partisanship. We will all live in eternal peace and harmony as we join hands with Jerry Brown and Paul Johnson and sing “We Are The World”. Sure.

 

2. If you hesitated, hoping the courts would rule in our favor, forget it, they went the other way, as they often do.

 

3. If you think that this thing can be defeated at the ballot box, with a multi-million dollar out of state campaign to pass it, think again.

 

4. The last line of defense now is to expose all the invalid signatures, which hopefully will be enough to get this idiocy off the ballot. Let it sink in. Verify the Vote volunteers are the last line of defense in this battle.

 

We said at the beginning of this campaign that this was an extremely urgent, all hands on deck situation. As events have developed, we are now seeing that we were not exaggerating.

A few days from now, when the deadline arrives, we will be saying to ourselves one of two phrases:

 

“I am glad I did”, or “I wish I had”. It is your choice.

 

We really do need everyone to participate in this.

As a footnote:  these signatures are not easy to verify because they are very difficult to read.  Often, where it says Print Name they don't and it is the same as the signature.  It can be frustrating.  Please don't give up.  Do the best you can.  I've found several with signatures that don't match, incomplete information or totally unreadable name & signature.  

We MUST do this, no if, ands or buts about it!!!!  If not us, who?  And time is short.
