 MAKES SEVERAL CHANGES TO THE RECALL PROCESS TO BETTER REFLECT THE WISHES OF THE DISTRICT INVOLVED        

 Of the 1300+ bills submitted, this is one of a dozen that we consider critical. We can not allow Randy Paraz and his ilk to do again what they did to Russell Pearce. If any one doubts the importance of this, just look at the dismal voting record of Jerry Lewis.

 Just got word from Senator Steve Smith that he may not have the 16 votes needed to pass this bill in the Senate.

 If any of you have not yet contacted all senators requesting support for SB1449, please make every effort to do so.

 Additionally, there are 3 senators that appear to be on the fence and may be persuaded to vote yes. Even if these three were contacted before, please contact them again.

Use e mail, phone, fax, smoke signal, drum beat, messenger pigeon, or whatever method you have at your disposal. But do, please, contact these three senators before 1:00 PM today.

Does Tom Jenney have latest "scores" on Reagans voting trends? Former GOP Senator Carolyn Allen voted "GOP" only 20% of time and  old District 8 let her represent us for 8 years ? Also ---we'd need to see Goldwater Inst. scores  before we can intelligently decide if Reagan is really a Chamber/Commerce legislator --or -a thoughtful moderate/conservative.
