WORSLEY(LD25) KILLS SENSIBLE ELECTION REFORM BILL.  House bill HB2495 by Rep. Payne(LD21) would have required elections for transaction privilege taxes (TPT) to be held on the same day as other elections, thus saving money and increasing voter participation. TPT’s are considered sales taxes because they are routinely passed on to consumers. In typical RVAD (Republicans Voting As Democrats) fashion, Worsley joined the Democrats in the Senate Judiciary Committee to defeat HB2495
