Its surprising how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit
[Editor: How many of us think about the long term negatives of artificial intelligence (AI) on our lives today and into the future? We've been warned about technocracy for several years but who even gives it a serious thought?]
Tech billionaire and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, just sent a dire message to President Donald Trump, warning that if he didn’t act now the consequences could be catastrophic.
While it sounds like the beginning of a science-fiction movie, Musk is completely serious.
At the bipartisan National Governors Association in Rhode Island, Musk spoke about electric cars, energy sources and space travel.
But the crowd’s ears especially perked up when Musk was asked about Artificial Intelligence and the need for government regulation.
“AI is a fundamental existential risk for human civilization, and I don’t think people fully appreciate that.” Among all of the threats we face in the world, from terrorism to nuclear warfare, Musk believes AI is “the scariest problem.”
And it’s a problem that we need to address now.

I am highly alarmed that Americans are not at all alarmed by the current onslaught of Technocracy. The midnight hour approaches where it will be completely unstoppable and then it will be upon us - total scientific dictatorship. Game over. Case closed. Liberty gone. America vanished. People enslaved.
Artificial intelligence (AI) might seem like the realm of science fiction, but you might be surprised to find out that you’re already using it. AI has a huge effect on your life, whether you’re aware of it or not, and its influence is likely to grow in the coming years. Here are 10 examples of artificial intelligence that you’re already using every day.
This is making news and is about your driving data... One of the companies, I think (Progressive), gives big bucks to anti-gun groups. Anyway, it's good reading especially about what the do with the data.
This link shows what I was talking about, not reading the terms and agreements..
This one is directly related to AI and it's invasion of our homes...
Progressive is just one of those companies doing this, many others use this as a gimmick to prove driving habits are what they say they are. Insurance is all about "risk", those with lower risk have lower premiums ... usually in all types of insurance ... EXCEPT Obamacare. The GOP "plan to lower premiums and deductibles" which will only lower with free-market competition NOT government intervention.
GEICO is another insurance company that gives lots of money to DemocRats.
