Its surprising how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit
As you watch this video, we dare you not to feel tears of pride and a chill up your spine. If you are not moved by this video, you may be living in the wrong country.
Many thanks to Dr. Lyle Rapaki for sending this to us.
An 11-year-old boy visited Normandy last June to pay his respects to the fallen WWII soldiers at Omaha Beach for the 70th Anniversary of D-Day.
As part of a project, called “Project Vigil,” the boy, dressed in a soldier’s uniform from WWII, trekked down to the beach and planted the American flag in the sand. He snapped his elbow to his forehead in a salute to those who lost their lives on the bloody sands of Omaha beach.
He held the salute for an hour and a half.
He only stopped once…Why?
I'm not taking that dare. I am so proud to be living in a country where a young 11 yr old boy feels such patriotism. Thank you, Dr. Rapaki for making this available to AFA to post.
Someone needs to sit the NFL down and force them to see this clip. Having two brothers who served in the war and one recieved a purple heart and almost didn't make it home this young man should be invited to the White House and maybe the Congress where all the slithery snakes that serve their own self interest and not the people who they took an oath to serve along with protecting the Constituton and freedom they too should be forced to see it. Those that died for our nation and those that serve and continue to serve are being dishonored, discarded and worse denied medical care and aid by these snakes who rather spend milions on ILLEGAL ALIENS while so many of our valient military go homeless or suicide.
