Comment by Walter Myers

A review of the Koran and other documents related to Islam reveals the following:

"There is a clash of civilizations. Militant jihad is a religious duty before God, and therefore necessary for the salvation of one's soul as well as for the defense of the Muslim nation."

"Only two camps exist. There can be no middle ground in an apocalyptic showdown between Islam and the 'forces of evil.' The forces of evil are defined as "'the West and also Muslims who do not share the militant jihadist vision of 'true Islam.'”

"Violence by Muslims in the defense of Islam is the only solution. Peaceful existence with the West is a dangerous illusion."

"'Apostate' regimes must go. Muslim governments that cooperate with the West and that have not imposed Sharia (Islamic) law are religiously unacceptable and must be violently overthrown."

"U.S. power is based on its economy. Therefore, large-scale, mass-casualty attacks -- especially focused on American and other Western economic targets -- are a primary goal."

•  Criticizing or denying any part of the Quran is punishable by death.
•  Criticizing or denying Muhammad is a prophet is punishable by death.

In the second to last chapter (chapter 9) called Taubah (which means "Ultimatum"), we find:

9:5   Slay the idolaters wherever you find them.
9:11 Treat converts to Islam well, but kill those who refuse to convert (see 9:5).
9:33 The "Religion of Truth" (Islam) must prevail, by force if necessary, over all other religions.
9:111 Believers must fight for Allah. They must kill and be killed. Allah will reward them for it.

Surah 4:89 – “Those who reject Islam must be killed.”

Surah 8:39 – “And fight them until there is no more fitnah (disbelievers) and the religion will all be for Allah alone.”

I suggest the above quotes make it clear that Islam is more than a religion, that it is not compatible with America’s culture, and that every Muslim, to be true to the tenets of her/his faith, must always strive to assure the installation of Sharia law wherever they reside. There is no room for such thinking and practice in America!  I further suggest it’s time the Federal government acknowledges these facts and pass legislation requiring everyone wishing to live in America embrace our culture or be deported as a hodgepodge of cultural and religious values provides no basis for law?

Islam is NOT a RELIGION, it is a THEOCRACY.
Islam and Sharia Law are 100% INCOMPATIBLE with the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

There are ONLY 4 options for all Moslems in the United States of America:
1. REFORM Islam (Dr Zuhdi Jasser M.D. - American Islamic Forum for Democracy)
3. MOVE to an Islamic country

It is not correct to say that Islam is Not a religion. Islam IS a religion. It meets all the standard definitions of "religion". At the same time, it is NOT ONLY a religion, BUT ALSO a totalitarian and imperialist ideology. The most respected Islamic religious authority in the world toeday, Yusuf Qaradawi, says:

Islam is not a religion in the common, distorted meaning of the word, confining its scope only to the private life of man. By saying that it is a complete way of life, we mean that it caters for all the fields of human existence. In fact, Islam provides guidance for all walks of life – individual and social, material and moral, economic and political, legal and cultural, national and international.”

Another Islamic website says: In sharp contrast to Christianity, Judaism, and other religions, Islam is not merely a religion. Rather, Islam is a unique and comprehensive ideology

When speaking to others about Islam, it is not productive to say that Islam is not a religion. We need to explain how Islam is fundamentally different from all other religions. Islam is an ideological wolf in sheep's religious clothing.

I think it is about time that interventionist rulings by agenda-driven judges be openly decried as unlawful and not worthy of being followed.  In essence, these activist judges and courts are unconstitutionally seizing power to make law and impose their personal will.  The Trump Administration lawyers can quote the Constitution and say, in appropriate Legalese, that such rulings have no basis in law and will be ignored.  Let's start fighting back!

Almost everything you say is correct, but the title is wrong. This is not an either/or question. That is, Islam is not either a religion or a political movement. Islam is BOTH a religion and a political movement. That is what makes it so powerful. In speaking to our fellow citizens who think that Islam is just a religion, it is useful to quote the Islamic religious authorities. Here are three such quotes:

Yusuf Qaradawi: Islam is a Complete Way of Life

Islam is not a religion in the common, distorted meaning of the word, confining its scope only to the private life of man. By saying that it is a complete way of life, we mean that it caters for all the fields of human existence. In fact, Islam provides guidance for all walks of life – individual and social, material and moral, economic and political, legal and cultural, national and international.”

NOTE: Yusuf Qaradawi is the most respected and influential Islamic religious authority in the world today, author of over 100 books on Muslim doctrine, head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, and spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.

A Complete Code of Life

by Dr. Muhammad al Alkhuli

NOTE: The following article is to be found on numerous Moslem websites. See: httg://english.islamwaycom/bindex.ph_g?section=article&id=l 69

Reference: The Need for Islam by Dr.Muhammad Al Alkhuli

Islam is a religion, but not in the western meaning of religion. The western connotation of the term "religion" is something between the believer and God. Islam as a religion organizes all aspects of life on both the individual and national levels. Islam organizes your relations with God, with yourself, with your children, with your relatives, with your neighbor, with your guest, and with other brethren. Islam clearly establishes your duties and rights in all those relationships. Islam establishes a clear system of worship, civil rights, laws of marriage and divorce, laws of inheritance, code of behavior, what not to drink, what to wear, and what not to wear, how to worship God, how to govern, the laws of war and peace, when to go to war, when to make peace, the law of economics, and the laws of buying and selling.

Islam is a complete code of life.

Islam is not for the mosque only, it is for daily life, a guide to life in all its aspects: socially, economically, and politically.

Islam is [a] complete constitution. ...  Islam is a complete code of human life.

Islam as an Ideology
The word ‘Islam’, in Arabic, means submission and peace. As a term, 'lslam' refers to the Message which was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) by Allah, the One Creator, and a 'Muslim' is the one who believes in Islam. In sharp contrast to Christianity, Judaism, and other religions, Islam is not merely a religion. Rather, Islam is a unique and comprehensive ideology.

Dr. Jasser, the "moderate" muslim has been on the attack against Pamela Gellar and Robert Spencer. Gellar has done a terrific job of keeping Americans informed about muslim activity around the world. Check out Spencer/ Jasser debate on You Tube!

You are right, Jerry. Dr. Jasser is suspicious. I well remember that he is anti-Trump, was a delegate to the RNC convention but resigned because he refused REFUSED to represent or cast a vote for Trump.  So who did he really support? I see him on Fox occasionally and have to scratch my head at what he says. I don't use him as any kind of model for a "good muslim."  BTW, my buds in LD23 say McCain recruited him to be a PC in that district. My buds have never seen him at a meeting.  Paper PC taking up space.

Dr. Jasser's argument that "political Islam" and "Islamism" are somehow separable from Islam just does not hold water. In Islam, everything comes from the Koran, and Jasser will never question the Koran or the "honor" of his prophet, Muhammad. If you can say anything about all Moslems, -- and that includes Jasser -- it is that they believe the Koran to be their god's LITERAL word. This is the fundamental proposition of Islam from which everything else about Islam flows. The consequences are that everyone, Moslems and non-Moslems, are stuck with the Koran forever because no human being, not even Dr. Jasser, would dare to revise his god's literal words. This is the reason that Islam cannot be reformed, and it is the reason why Dr. Jasser has no program for reform. All he has is wishful thinking -- that Islam should get rid of jihad against non-Moslems, get rid of the mandatory nature of Sharia law, and get rid of primary loyalty to the worldwide Islamic community (Ummah). Because Jasser rejects these core principles of Islam, his own religious Islamic community has rejected him nearly as an apostate.

Jasser has never presented even an outline of a plan just how this rejection of core principles of Islam is to be achieved, nor can he because it would involve tearing the Koran and the Sunnah apart. If Jasser ever started to question the sanctity of the Koran or Muhammad, he would lose his ability to identify himself as a Moslem thereby losing all of his credibility among a certain group of Fox-news conservative non-Moslems.  The freedom fighters whom Jasser attacks have exposed this fundamental fallacy in Jasser's arguments, and Jasser attacks them personally for it instead of attacking the real jihadists and their supporters in the Moslem community.

Reforming Islam is something like straightening a corkscrew. With difficulty, you can straighten a corkscrew, but then you do not have a corkscrew anymore. If you take "political Islam" out of the Koran and the Sunnah, you don't have Islam anymore.

Which is why we must stop allowing these people into America and deport as many as possible. Of course they procreate at a rapid rate so we may be stuck. I do think there are some who reject jihad and Sharia and other tenets of the Quran but you will never hear that or see that. They will remain good little muslims. They will help harm every country they are in. They are the fastest growing religion now. It's taken 100s of years to get them to this place and they will not give it up easily.  Free societies and muslim societies are fundamentally incompatible. Trump may understand that. I hope. If so, it's a start but then you have all these European countries handing their societies over to muslims until at some point, it will be America and Israel against the world.

Italy gives money to organized religions according to their membership. Islam is an exception because the Italian government does not consider it a religion. The reason is the negative attitude toward women. We must close the door to Muslims before it is too late.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

The best in books to make every conservative start thinking in new ways about America and the world being controlled by the Obama Administrations AND Republicans and Democrats.  Some surprises are in store for those who look!
