[Editor: Since Walt came onto this site, there has been much discussion about the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto.  There was always some commentary about this but more now.  Most of us think we know what those ten planks are but if you actually ask most well informed people, they can name only two or three and then they have difficulty explaining the application.  We saw Plank #1 in full bloom last year with the situation in Nevada and Oregon with the Bundy's and LaVoy Finicum. (To see our coverage of those situations, please do a search in the search box upper right corner.) While all of us here on AFA were outraged at what happened, particularly in Oregon, most of us did not connect those events to the origin. We recognize the injustice but don't tend to take that next step in critical thinking.]

Could this be happening in America?  If so, how?

Our "elected representatives" have passed laws implementing these anti-freedom concepts. The communists have achieved a de facto FEDERAL SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT in America.

In 1848 Karl Marx and Frederick Engels wrote a book outlining a political ideology, titled "The Communist Manifesto". Marxism's basic theme is that the proletariat (the "exploited" working class of a capitalistic society) will suffer from alienation and will rise up against the "bourgeoisie" (the middle class) and overthrow the system of "capitalism." After a brief period of rule by "the dictatorship of the proletariat" the classless society of communism would emerge. In his Manifesto Marx described the following ten steps as necessary steps to be taken to destroy a free enterprise society!! Notice how many of these conditions, foreign to the principles that America was founded upon, have now, in 1997, been realized by the concerted efforts of socialist activists? Remember, government interference in your daily life and business is intrusion and deprivation of our liberties!

First Plank: Abolition of property in land and the application of all rents of land to public purposes. (Zoning - Model ordinances proposed by Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover widely adopted. Supreme Court ruled "zoning" to be "constitutional" in 1921. Private owners of property required to get permission from government relative to the use of their property. Federally owned lands are leased for grazing, mining, timber usages, the fees being paid into the U.S. Treasury.)

Second Plank: A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. (Corporate Tax Act of 1909. The 16th Amendment, allegedly ratified in 1913. The Revenue Act of 1913, section 2, Income Tax. These laws have been purposely misapplied against American citizens to this day.)

Third Plank: Abolition of all rights of inheritance. (Partially accomplished by enactment of various state and federal "estate tax" laws taxing the "privilege" of transfering property after death and gift before death.)

Fourth Plank: CONFISCATION OF THE PROPERTY OF ALL EMIGRANTS AND REBELS. (The confiscation of property and persecution of those critical - "rebels" - of government policies and actions, frequently accomplished by prosecuting them in a courtroom drama on charges of violations of non-existing administrative or regulatory laws.)

Thank you AFA team for doing so much to help educate your readers!! Now if they will only be realistic and accept that both major political parties have supported the installation and perpetuation of these planks into the "governing" (enslaving) of us perhaps we could begin unifying ourselves for the purpose of returning America into a nation of laws in lieu of the lawless nation we have become so far as politicians are concerned.

Maybe I misinterpreted this, but it reminds me of this piece of text from James Madison (Federalist 51, 1778)

"But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. A dependence on the people is, no doubt, the primary control on the government; but experience has taught mankind the necessity of auxiliary precautions."

The shoe seems to fit.

The Founding Fathers never envisioned a government run by career professional politicians. It's why Washington and others never served more than two terms by their own judgement. But Marx did envision such a thing.  Governments always start with great intentions and end up like ours. History tells us that.  Most govs last less than 200 years and only because of the Constitution has ours gone on for 241 years. But I see the end coming. We see illegals and socialists and the media using the Constitution against us, using our own desire for freedoms against us.

The service of AFA is immeasurably worthy of AZ voters to be involved by joining as well as any voter in the nation to be members.  I followed the link posted and what a gem of a web site.

I wish the AFA subscription was ten or a hundred times greater than what there is today.  I copied the ten planks document into a PDF file.  I plan on sending it to 220+ contacts in 8 states and another 65 in LD14 plus 300 former supporters of Carson for POTUS. Each will be encouraged to join AFA.

America is not yet lost as a REPUBLIC.  However, we are on thin ice since 1913 when Wilson was elected POTUS and the federal reserve bank system was implemented to complete the filth Marx plank.  I have made this case many a time in the Convention of States (COS) battle to get an Article V resolution through the legislators.  There are 2.3 million support signatures for the COS movement.

Convention of the States - 83 members

Is It Constitutional? - 76 members

Watching the GOP - 168 members

My comments and conclusions point by point or for each of the ten planks:

  1. Partial completed especially in the western states with up to 80% or more of the land controlled by the federal government.

  2. Completed implementation of this plank. Have you ever wondered why the out cry from the democrats and RINOS about the tax cuts? How about those who pay no income tax but the left and RINOs succeeded in giving them a tax refund?

  3. The death taxes against the deceased estate demonstrates this plank is implemented.

  4. Law enforcement ability to confiscate property without proof of guilt, only needing suspicion and no court warrant required. Do you think this plank is completed?

  5. I colored it red as the Federal Reserve central banking system has been a economic disaster. And the impact on inflation is demonstrated by a $1.00 in 1913 is worth 4cents or less in 2017.

  6. The main stream media now turned into the mean stream media (MSM) is thwarted to a great extent by the alternative means of communication. Guess why they hate President Trump's TWEETS? He bypasses the centralized communications control. The Internet and social media also counters MSM. Transportation funding from the feds other than for the Interstates should remain in state control.

  7. They have tried but not yet succeeded in controlling the economy.

  8. Circumvention of the constitution from a guarantee to pursue happiness to the welfare state provides a partial implementation. Guaranteed income for all by the feds would be the final coffin nail in this plank.

  9. Some implementation but too many independent farmers remain.

  10. Public schools are fiercely defended. Read plank 10 and you understand why home schooling and charter schools are detested by the democrats.

Thanks to both Walt and Bruce for their confidence in AFA.  To Bruce, we have quite a few people who consistently read AFA who are not members.  We know that by a couple of methods:

1.  We get emails from people around the country asking about one of our articles

2.  Some of our team get articles from friends who are not on AFA.  They copy the articles and send them in e-blasts to their lists.  They never come to the site because the entire article is in the email.

3.  We can see the unique IP addresses in the back end of the site.

So we know we reach more people than we can nail down.  More importantly, we reach people who are against us who come here regularly to see what we are saying about them.  Two years ago, we suddenly had 7-8 people sign up all at the same time within a 15 minute window.  Being the suspicious people we are we checked each one of their IP addresses.  They were all the same.  One team member recognized the name of a McCain operative!  They were declined and we closed the site to the public for three months so they could not use our info.

We would love to see everyone here get out and tell their friends.  We need an active army well informed.  Like you guys already here!

I really thought healthcare was one of them. I was wrong.

Same with fire arms? I am sure they had to disarm us?

The 2nd amendment right is missing in the International Covenant on Civil and Political rights. It's gone. see state dept. pub. 7277.

Thanks Walter

Marc - Health care control is one of the Saul Alinsky tenants.  Also in socialism national health care is an ultimate control over the people's lives.  The average life span is about 3 years longer in Canada then the U.S. but I am positive it is not due to good health care.  Canadians flock to the U.S. for a wide variety of health care due to long waiting lists in Canada.  The same is true for England.  Although the Brits mat go to other European countries.  Ironically the drug imports by individuals from Canada help U.S. citizens to reduce health care costs.

Walter Meyers references an excellent google search target about fire arms.  The U.N. and democrats keep trying but have not achieved a binding ban on the 2nd amendment.  I think one of the more recent ones was a U.N. sponsored small arms treaty - never ratified.

Thanks Bruce

Marc:  That the rights of "we the people" are being attacked from many angles is quite obvious. After all, we are the official enemies of our Federal government and have been since 3/9/1933. Per President Clinton, the purpose of government is to remove people's rights.

Below is a letter I wrote some time ago to 2nd amendment supports. I also suggest you read the book by the Oxford Press title "Our Global Neighborhood; the report of the Commission on Global Governance."   You might also find these papers of interest.   http://thecnc.org/Documents/ActiveDuty.htm  http://thecnc.org/Documents/PriorityNeeds.htm

Dear 2nd Amendment supporters:

James Madison wrote “The preservation of a free government requires, not merely that the metes and bounds which separate each department of power be invariably maintained, but more especially that neither of them be suffered to overleap the great barrier which defends the rights of the people. The rulers who are guilty of such encroachment exceed the commission from which they derive their authority, and are TYRANTS. The people who submit to it are governed by laws made neither by themselves nor by an authority derived from them and are slaves…..”

Our Constitution is the great barrier!” Through a series of unlawful actions it’s been “overleaped.” America is no longer the Constitutional Republic created by its founders but a nation-state of a New World Order; “a world that has a supra-national authority to regulate world commerce and industry, an international organization that would control the production and consumption of oil; an international currency that would replace the dollar; a world development fund that would make funds available to free and communist nations alike; and an international police force to enforce the edicts of the New World Order;” a world ruled by an Imperial Oligarchy.

On May 11, 1955, Mr. Carl Rix, former President of the American Bar Association, summarized the death of our Constitution before a Senate committee by saying: Congress is no longer bound by its Constitutional system of delegated power. Its only test is under the obligatory power to promote human rights (not to be confused with the unalienable rights guaranteed by our Constitution) in these fields of endeavor: Civil, political, economic, social and cultural. These (powers) are found in Articles 55 and 56 of the Charter of the United Nations. Congress may now legislate as an uninhibited body with no shackles of delegated powers under the Constitution. Our entire system of government of delegated powers of Congress has been changed to a system of undelegated powers without amendment (of the Constitution) by the people of the United States.”

In addressing fallouts of the U.N. Charter in To Tame a Tyrant (www.tyranttamer.com) I wrote “perhaps the most destructive of all was the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights…It shredded our Bill of Rights…,it eliminated our most important right---to keep and bear arms. Rest assured…we will …see legislation forthcoming to take them from us. Tyrants can’t survive in an armed Society.” The Covenant became effective on 3/23/76.

Now you know why 2nd Amendment organizations can’t stop the onslaught against our right “to keep and bear arms.”  They are attacking a symptom of our problem and symptoms CANNOT be solved; only problems.

People wishing to defend their rights need to reconsider who they are supporting and why. Tax issues, Illegal immigration, the FED, gun control, bailouts, and more are symptoms of our problem which was characterized by thirty governors saying “Federal action has exceeded the clear bounds of its jurisdiction under the Constitution and thus violated rights guaranteed the people.”  To correct this problem, ’we the concerned’ must cease only supporting single and limited issue organizations and unite; not in body but in spirit and on actions of common concern. We must build a team dedicated to Taking America Back such as that describe at http://thecnc.org/Documents/1776.htm.

Many of us share the thoughts of Daniel Webster who said: “I take the hazard of the reputation of an alarmist…I declare, that in my judgment, not only the great interest of the country, but the Constitution itself, are in imminent peril, and that nothing can save either the one or the other but that voice which has authority to say to the evils of misrule and misgovernment, ‘hereto shall ye come, but no further.” “That voice” is We the People with 2nd Amendment supporters being a highly recognized sub set thereof.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
Thomas Jefferson

The best in books to make every conservative start thinking in new ways about America and the world being controlled by the Obama Administrations AND Republicans and Democrats.  Some surprises are in store for those who look!

Suppose the earth and its inhabitants exist in order to identify just what causes mankind continually to suffer so many troublesome problems and afflictions.
