Its surprising how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit
We all questioned it. We all realized nothing coming out of the Obama White House (WHITE House? Racist!) was mostly an Alice-in-Wonderland fantasy, to be believed only by children and foolish uninformed voters.
When Obama announced that HE had killed Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan and then released photos of the site and even some interior footage, we were skeptical. You were, too. This story was ballihooed across all of the networks and no one really questioned the incident or whether it as all done in a film studio.
When almost the entire SEAL Team 6 on that "mission", the team Obama claimed had done the deed, were killed shortly thereafter in a helicopter crash, we knew that the story was a hoax. No investigation was ever made public on this incident. There were early reports that one SEAL was very nervous about the flight before it left. Nothing about the orders for this flight met protocol. The destination was unusual, the mission was unclear and the helicopter was flying over enemy territory at very low altitude.
Later, there appeared a young man who was heralded as the only survivor of that mission. This young man has been on many TV interviews then and still, always telling the same story. We watched with a jaundiced eye as we watched everything about Obama! Something about this guy just didn't pass the smell test but we could not put our finger on it.
Today, we feel assured that this man was never in Pakistan and never participated in any action against Bin Laden. Or if he did, he's been bought off. NO military questions his/her Commander-in-Chief publicly. NO SEAL ever forgets their training. We could be totally wrong on our assessment, but we don't think so. Nothing about the Obama Administration was ever true, including, in our opinion, the story of the "killing of Bin Laden." O'Neill might legitimately feel he's right about the parade but he would never be so dishonorable as to say that publicly. Not a SEAL.
The U.S. Navy SEAL who killed Usama bin Laden is not a fan of President Trump's call for a military parade in Washington, and he made his opinion clear on the commander-in-chief's favorite social media forum.
Robert O'Neill, who is also a Fox News contibutor, tweeted Thursday that the idea floated by Trump, whose campaign he supported, is not something the world's lone superpower should consider.
"A military parade is third world bulls---," O'Neill tweeted. "We prepare. We deter. We fight. Stop this conversation."
O’Neill has been a Trump supporter since the 2016 campaign. The two dined at the White House last fall and did a photo-op.
Trump reportedly said he was inspired to stage a military parade in Washington on July 4, after watching France’s Bastille Day military parade last July.
Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., told CNN Tuesday that she was "stunned by it," and that "we have a Napolean in the making here."
Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., said, "Basically anything," would be more useful than asking the Pentagon to waste money on a big military parade.
"Real American military men don't slam their commander in chief and President." Quote from the comments
Boy, would I love to see a military parade, displaying for all Americans the fury and the love of country such a parade would gender. I agree with the AFA comments, I never believed this guy was with the team that supposedly killed bin laden and I'm not sure he is even dead today. or maybe he died at some other time in the compound and this was staged so Obama could show off. Never a body as it was reported dumped at sea.
In the media, we usually see countries like Russia, North Korea, and some other countries with dictatorial governments display their strength so as to flex their military muscles to impress the rest of the world, I guess. I don't think Americans and some others are truly impressed by them. Personally, the USA is already a super power. Does it need to show how powerful it is on our streets ? Maybe. We and the rest of the world have seen our determination and power in defeating ISIS strongholds in the past year. I don't know if we need a public display of our military strength here at home when other countries have experienced it in previous wars going all the way back to the War of Independence. Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong????
Personally, I like the idea. This country has had a regime in place for years and we showed no patriotism. Heck, you could hardly get Obama to put his hand over his chest to say the Pledge. Having a military parade to honor our military who have been treated like garbage for years is a good thing. Remember after Viet Nam and they were treated like trash, spit on and everything? This is a gift back to them who suffered such degradation. And a gift to Americans who still believe America is an exceptional country. I don't expect a parade here would look anything like those in NoKo where 1000s of people wearing black coats and glum faces standing silently as ordered. Ours would be a festival but honorable. Remember those who have recently gone to muslim countries and complained about Trump the idiot unfit to lead. This will be an answer to such tripe. I like it, let's do it
I am 100% in favor of a parade for the military, but only under 1 condition: Have the military from Afghanistan and Iraq return to the USA, and end this 15 and 17 year old bs wars. Both the Bushes can go to Hell! No more One world economic system, One world Religion, and One World Government attempting to rule the world (Agenda 2030). no more 1000 points of light, Mr. Globalist.Forget about mining the 3 trillion dollars of minerals in Afghanistan, and oil pipelines through Syria, etc. Do not shed any more blood. Listen to Rand Paul, and many of the Freedom Caucus. Bring Our Soldiers Home Now!!! Enough of this stupidity, and while you are at it, Shut Up Mr. McCain, soon to be arrested for treason. no more Foreign Entanglements. Fire, McMaster while you are at it.
Hey, Mark. Don't hold back! Tell us how you really feel!!! <g>
I agree with you, though, I'd like to get us out of all these wars. Let them kill each other, as they seem wont to do.
Why doesn't the military investigate the murder of Seal Team Six today? What is it afraid of? They know we will never believe the official story, yet they continue to put up with the LIE that Ovomit propagated.
Jack Kennedy and 9/11 also come to mind.
