WHITE HOUSE – As President, my highest duty is to defend the American people and the Constitution of the United States of America. At the same time, I do not favor punishing children, most of whom are now adults, for the actions of their parents. But we must also recognize that we are [a] nation of opportunity because we are a nation of laws.

The legislative branch, not the executive branch, writes these laws – this is the bedrock of our Constitutional system, which I took a solemn oath to preserve, protect, and defend.

In June of 2012, President Obama bypassed Congress to give work permits, social security numbers, and federal benefits to approximately 800,000 illegal immigrants currently between the ages of 15 and 36. The typical recipients of this executive amnesty, known as DACA, are in their twenties. Legislation offering these same benefits had been introduced in Congress on numerous occasions and rejected each time.

In referencing the idea of creating new immigration rules unilaterally, President Obama admitted that “I can’t just do these things by myself” – and yet that is exactly what he did, making an end-run around Congress and violating the core tenets that sustain our Republic.

Officials from 10 States are suing over the program, requiring my Administration to make a decision regarding its legality. The Attorney General of the United States, the Attorneys General of many states, and virtually all other top legal experts have advised that the program is unlawful and unconstitutional and cannot be successfully defended in court.

There can be no path to principled immigration reform if the executive branch is able to rewrite or nullify federal laws at will.

The temporary implementation of DACA by the Obama Administration, after Congress repeatedly rejected this amnesty-first approach, also helped spur a humanitarian crisis – the massive surge of unaccompanied minors from Central America including, in some cases, young people who would become members of violent gangs throughout our country, such as MS-13.

Only by the reliable enforcement of immigration law can we produce safe communities, a robust middle class, and economic fairness for all Americans.

Therefore, in the best interests of our country, and in keeping with the obligations of my office, the Department of Homeland Security will begin an orderly transition and wind-down of DACA, one that provides minimum disruption.

The decades-long failure of Washington, D.C. to enforce federal immigration law has had both predictable and tragic consequences: lower wages and higher unemployment for American workers, substantial burdens on local schools and hospitals, the illicit entry of dangerous drugs and criminal cartels, and many billions of dollars a year in costs paid for by U.S. taxpayers. Yet few in Washington expressed any compassion for the millions of Americans victimized by this unfair system. Before we ask what is fair to illegal immigrants, we must also ask what is fair to American families, students, taxpayers, and job seekers.

For decades both political administrations have FAILED TO DO THEIR JOBS by kicking this can down the road to ruination that destroys the rule of law according to the Constitution. I like so many others ... are F E D  U P ... with this determined lawlessness. What do we explain to the police when we are caught speeding? That it's not my fault

All who supported this shredding of our Constitution and the laws written by Congress itself need to be thrown out of office, for they no longer represent us ... they represent a leftist Marxist "chaos" and "an opportunity that will not go to waste" !!!  Why do would we support this hypocrisy, corruption, and enslavement of ourselves by complacency?

I like making predictions. I'm a fool for being wrong.  But I'm trying to understand just what Trump has in mind.  Is he being realistic which he always seem to be thinking about the logistics of deporting 800,000 people on top of those who are being deported already? Will he sign a bill that does not address chain migration and believes any bill he gets won't have that in it so he's off the hook?  How many times have we heard wailing and ripping of cloth over something he said or did only to find out later he was right.  Recent example: it was on both sides! OMG the grief that man got over that true statement.  Like republicans and democrats, I'm in constant confusion as to how to interpret this man.  I always feel there is a secret strategy behind his every move.  I'm sitting tight for now and not joining the nay-sayers.

I believe that the methodology Trump is using is to keep the feet of Congress to the fire. They have refused to alter any of their past actions and kicked the can down the road. Now he is making THEM accountable for their inaction or not just immigration, but also the budget process that now they want TIED to Harvey costs. That is the typical BS they do to defer actions to another election. Those who are revealed as frauds will be held accountable for keeping Ryan & McConnell in leadership when they should be disbarred as the frauds they are in the Republican brand siding as RINO's. Deportation is not the goal ... changing the law congress wrote, or enforcing what is Law as written is.

One hell of a lot more concern for both the Constitution and the American people than any president in quite some time.

Statement made by Candidate Trump: TRUMP: Well, you need somebody, because politicians are all talk, no action. Nothing's gonna get done. They will not bring us — believe me — to the promised land. They will not.

President Trump Press Release well written by the Staff

WHITE HOUSE – As President, my highest duty is to defend the American people and the Constitution of the United States of America.

At the same time, I do not favor punishing children, most of whom are now adults, for the actions of their parents. But we must also recognize that we are [a] nation of opportunity because we are a nation of laws.  ( Our laws punish the children of Americans who break our laws such as Fraud or Robbery, when caught anything gained thru the commission of a crime is taken, which has left the entire family in the streets and no one complained as that was the law and it punished the Children who are American Citizens ).  Special Laws for Dreamers due to Politics once again.

Therefore, in the best interests of our country, and in keeping with the obligations of my office, the Department of Homeland Security will begin an orderly transition and wind-down of DACA, one that provides minimum disruption.

In other words a nice way of saying there'll be no deporting the Dreamers or Parents, I believe this is a result of the Emotion vs. American Law as President Trump stated ( I do not favor punishing children), other Presidents have Enforced Our Immigration Laws, sad thing is most don't know it happened as isn't taught in our Socialist Federally Government Run Schools and certain today they'd be called Bigots. Check Out some of the Facts: http://vanscrossroads.com/2016/05/enforce-present-immigration-laws-... , these Presidents Deported Millions of Illegals and we had no National Hwy. system or the tech to find them or ways to stop them from having jobs, schools etc., they defended the US Constitition

The decades-long failure of Washington, D.C. to enforce federal immigration law has had both predictable and tragic consequences: lower wages and higher unemployment for American workers, substantial burdens on local schools and hospitals, the illicit entry of dangerous drugs and criminal cartels, and many billions of dollars a year in costs paid for by U.S. taxpayers.   ( comment: which continues on by not enforcing existing laws )

I've watched this video again as I was also at this Rally and thought Pres. Trump would do exactly what he said he'd do especially the part 30 minutes into it, however seems by not truly enforcing our Laws by Deporting anyone within our borders illegally whether entered that way or overstayed a Visa, the low skilled American Workers he said he'd protect are still at risk and wages in those areas and others remain low, with the exception of course of the new minimum wage laws just currently passed that is if you aren't working for cash. Trump Phx. Video ( https://youtu.be/EQsr9196cu0 ).

My wife and myself campaigned for the President as we did for Sheriff Joe simultaneously, however this newest stand on now not deporting groups due to compassion sounds a good deal similar to the Gang of Eight and as far as that goes most in DC.  I'm not against the President just the shift in policy, I believe brought about by the Left Wing of the White House and the removal of the Conservatives from it. The Recent Poll just taken on ABC 15 Local News that asked the question do you support President Trump's decision to End DACA, which I do agree with, however don't agree with the non enforcement of our Immigration Laws in regards to those who are now not considered Criminals by Trump for just entering illegally and also not removing those with overstayed Visas, as these are the groups who took the jobs from Americans not the Drug Dealers etc.  The Poll when we started to mount a positive response to the question was 55% No to 45% Yes when we finished at 1:40 AM it was 67% Yes to 33% No, and then the Poll closed, however checking back in this morning guess someone didn't like the results and it had reopened we mounted a response and got the numbers back as they were when it closed and even though the clock said 5 hrs. 24 min. left it closed again. I do believe ABC didn't like the results and tried to turn them around and when we came back at them they closed it, I can't tell you how satisfying it was to help make this happen, and also to see first hand just how corrupt the Media is and have 4 Photo Shots to prove it as well as knowing how it took more votes as the night moved on to move the #'s.  My point in this is just the left in DC GOP or Dem will now write the Immigration Policy and whether it's Legal Status or Amnesty  won't make much of a difference as we'll just be settling once again for less than Promised.

God Bless You; Clair VAN Steenwyk

The rule of Law is being, once again, discarded for political expedience. There is no bipartisanship with ANY Democrat. That "bipartisanship" is a one-way street on the Democrats highway. These Republicans of today want spending and the RINO's and leadership has no appetite for the Constitution during a non-election year as we are being fed to the wolves in the Democratic party. Trump is showing us another side of himself as he talks that talk, but can't stand up to Ryan and McConnell and the elitist establishment. DACA can be thrown out but then what will happen to the future generations of child bearing illegal adults, the former "children"?  Nothing that benefits the conservatives who abandoned our current immigration statutes and laws. America is in a vortex of evil where laws no longer matter, and a security wall is unfunded.  Just as Confederate statues no longer matter to our heritage and history, we are being swept away by words that mean less ... and less.

Once the Dreamers they realize they got what they really wanted, the Congress will now give them Legal Status, meaning citizenship for all their children with a pathway for them and it will be signed into law or if not then they'll still be with us and the Immigration Laws aren't being enforced now anymore than they were under Obama when it comes to any of them as just entering the country doesn't make you a Criminal by the White House definition and therefore no need to worry and the jobs they have in place of the unskilled American Citizens they took them from are becoming just more campaign Rhetoric.
God Bless You All;
Clair VAN Steenwyk

Exactly ... and no funding for a border wall = our nations demise. Why not just remove all speed limits signs as well for it's all the same BS when it's all about a self-interest implemented inalienable rights agenda to "fundamentally transform America" and "never let a crisis go to waste".

The only thing these idiots are good at is just that, managing the crisis no matter what it is to benefit themselves at the Demise of the USA and so many sheep follow them like this is the way it's suppose to be or at least Compromising is the Best they can do and that we deserve, I'm so greatful I grew up when being an American meant more than a handout and learned early you have to stand up for what's right even if you're standing by yourself. God Bless You; Clair VAN Steenwyk

What a breath of fresh air is our President. Concise and to the point he has enumerated the Constitutional reasoning to eliminate this program and given the Congress their opportunity to vote it into law if they dare to openly stab low income and deserving American citizens in the back by giving the "dreamers" opportunities many American's will never see.

I would like to know what financial benefits have been given, at our expense, to the "dreamers". It will likely be many thousands of dollars per person annually in the form of food stamps, rent subsidy, medical care or insurance and legal representation, not to mention education and administration of the program, all on the tab paid by you and me.

Since this program is unConstitutional from the outset we should recover all the costs associated with it from Obama's pension and financial assets, which I fear will be, sadly, far less than what it has cost us.

Suppose the earth and its inhabitants exist in order to identify just what causes mankind continually to suffer so many troublesome problems and afflictions.

At present, most persons decide to act on whatever happens with their thoughts. But doing so puts them in competition with one of the creator's natural laws first identified by Richard Wetherill.

How?

The answer is not complicated. People must stop basing their behavior on their personal thinking. Instead they have to act on the creator's thoughts, here being described in the English language as rational, honest, and morally right.

No longer should people reason from their concepts of good and evil, right and wrong, likes and dislikes, or whatever else comes to mind. Instead, mankind must think the creator's thoughts. That enables them successfully to do what is rational, honest, and morally right.

That may seem incredible until understood. But, consider that it is the way that mankind can escape the death penalty everybody has been paying since the days that people were created.

Join the survivors who have stopped their personal thinking. They now base their behavior on the creator's guiding thoughts to act in a way that is rational, honest, and morally right.
