Its surprising how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit
Editor: Remember the days when Republicans didn't have the majority to fix illegal immigration? Remember when Obama was in the WH and they all said, "Oh, we would fix this problem but we don't have the White House. We can't get this signed into law." Pres. Trump has busted them for the democrats they are. Did you know Paul Ryan gets elected in his district but his own home town votes against him in every election? Interesting that there are two pieces of legislation: bad and horrible. What will become of America if we allow a million illegals into this country every year? You know the answer.
They are counting on getting this through before they are voted out of office or when all the resignations kick in. All Dems will vote for the worst of these two bills but it will be spun to voters to look like a gift to America.... and since the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Koch Bros. are pushing this, it IS a gift to them. Voters have remarkably short memories - and an inability to connect the dots - and that is what they are counting on. We predict the big industries going forward will be lock manufacturers, lock smiths and security companies as Americans seek to protect themselves and their property.
House Republicans have reached a deal to vote on two immigration bills next week, Speaker Paul D. Ryan’s office said Tuesday, setting the stage for a high-stakes floor showdown over the fate of millions of illegal immigrants.
House Republicans will hash out the options at a closed-door meeting Wednesday morning, said AshLee Strong, Mr. Ryan’s spokeswoman.
The mere act of scheduling votes is symbolically huge. It will be the first time since Republicans retook control of the chamber in 2010 that they have put a major legalization bill on the floor.
But the fact that two bills will be put on the floor suggests there is still no unanimity within the party on how far to go on legalization of “Dreamers,” nor on how to stiffen border security and interior enforcement to prevent another wave of unauthorized migration.
The announcement did, however, defuse a petition drive backed by rebel Republicans and Democrats that had threatened to sideline Republican leaders and turn control of the issue over to the minority.
This is the typical clash between the republicans and the democrats and the democrats include Ryan and his cabal. Yes, I knew his own home town knew him well enough not to vote for him and it's no surprise to me. The democrats and Republicrats are in charge. They are willing to give in to big business for cheap labor at the expense of America and her values that are in short supply these days. That pix is very telling. Just look at it. They have deception written all over their body language.
Voters are to blame. Voters.
If the bill they send to our President has ALL the points he requested politically it's a win anything less the Democrats and RINO's win.
