Grace... It is a Gift from God

Perhaps the most important theological term in the Bible is GRACE. You cannot live without it and you can do nothing to earn it. It is a Gift from our Glorious God. It is FREE. I had the privilege of speaking this week at the Free Grace Alliance national conference in Arlington, Texas. I, along with two of my friends, presented a workshop on the importance of Grace and highlighted our new book: A Defense of Free Grace Theology. It is difficult for most of us to accept the free gift of grace…See More

When Feeling Bad is Good

Positive Illusionism is a psychological theory that tells people it is good to create a positive illusion of reality because it makes life seem more acceptable, tolerable and livable even though it is not true. (Sounds like the reason many people drink and do drugs to oblivion.) I suppose creating an imaginary altered state to view life through fits with Shakespeare's assessment of mankind: "Man cannot bear much reality." (Sounds like the Snowflake Syndrome.)  Reality often makes us feel…See More

News of the day touts Starbucks new position against our 2nd Amendment in favor of the lefties doing all they can to take away more of our right's as American citizens.

Starbucks had already announced that patrons holding to a "Pro Life" stand are no longer welcome in their establishments, and now this. Every dollar we chose to spend in that coffee shop chain, will be used to further fund the leftist agenda now destroying our once great Republic.

And while I have your…

Jim, That was truly beautiful! Perhaps, you can explain something to me. It was regarding 700 yrs before the first Christmas."The depiction of the Promised land..one is described in theological quadruplet list of four, as opposed to Catholic quintuplet of Handel's Messiah". I was brought in the Methodist Church as well as the Presbyterian Church. My Mother was the organist in the Presbyterian Church & I can remember all the practicing she did before the Sunday that she played Handel's Messiah.

Jim: Not only did I like your comment by Winston Churchill-"The further back you can look, the further forward you can see." I have always  enjoyed the gems that came out of Winston Churchill's mouth. When I was 8 yrs old I had 2 canaries & I named one Winston & the other one Ike.

I just wanted you to know that you were not singled out by all these electors that inundated your In-Box with e-mails b/c they were upset that Hillary had not won the election. There was another person (& probably more than one) that had the same thing happen to them. It seems so senseless that these people want to prove a point by all this protesting & causing vandalism. Many of us put up with 8 yrs of Obama & yet the last thing we thought of doing was acting the way that these people have.

I enjoy your posts on AFA & just wanted you to know there there was someone in AZ who not only reads your posts, but appreciates all the work that you go through for this group.

P.S. Did we ever get the bust back of Winston Churchill? :)

I enjoy your posts on AFA & just wanted you to know that there was someone in AZ who not only read your posts, but emphasized with all that you have had to go through.

My God bless you,

Hi Jim; Believe there is a link from this system to the show. Now as to a group, I'm not talking about holding weekly meetings or an on line discussion group, just citizens to meet together to discuss a strategy of how to fix the AZ Constitution to fix this out of control board, gov. etc.

If you feel like the Federal government is seriously broken and is incapable of fixing itself - don’t give up hope.  There is a solution as big as the problem.  Just this year, I have become aware of, and become quite active in, a group of volunteer citizens organizing the States to use Article V of the U.S. constitution to enact amendments to the constitution without interference from either Congress or the President.  A resolution has already been approved by 3 states, and partially approved by 8 others, which calls for a Convention of States to pass amendments which would “impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, and limit the terms of office of federal government officials.”  The name of the group is “The Convention of States” and their website is http://conventionofstates.com/ .  I invite you to click on this website, volunteer to help in some way, and join me in the fight for liberty.

The best in books to make every conservative start thinking in new ways about America and the world being controlled by the Obama Administrations AND Republicans and Democrats.  Some surprises are in store for those who look!

Suppose the earth and its inhabitants exist in order to identify just what causes mankind continually to suffer so many troublesome problems and afflictions.

At present, most persons decide to act on whatever happens with their thoughts. But doing so puts them in competition with one of the creator's natural laws first identified by Richard Wetherill.

The answer is not complicated. People must stop basing their behavior on their personal thinking. Instead they have to act on the creator's thoughts, here being described in the English language as rational, honest, and morally right.

No longer should people reason from their concepts of good and evil, right and wrong, likes and dislikes, or whatever else comes to mind. Instead, mankind must think the creator's thoughts. That enables them successfully to do what is rational, honest, and morally right.

That may seem incredible until understood. But, consider that it is the way that mankind can escape the death penalty everybody has been paying since the days that people were created.

Join the survivors who have stopped their personal thinking. They now base their behavior on the creator's guiding thoughts to act in a way that is rational, honest, and morally right.
