How deep is the war within the Republican Party

It seems to be everywhere.  Solid activist republicans in states around the country are jumping ship.  There are plenty of insiders trying to save the party by begging conservatives to stay, things will be different soon.

Our team had a long chat with Matt Schlapp during the recent National Federation of Republican Assemblies Convention about the state of the Republican party.  Not included in the discussion was any talk of leaving the party or starting a new party.  However, we were not comforted by the discussion.

Our team was discussing the sorry state of our AZGOP with Schlapp, the cheating and total disregard for anyone who has a difference with AZGOP.  We discussed the lapse in proper leadership of Robert Graham and Jonathan Lines.  We discussed the out-right fraudulent behavior of the Chairman of the Nevada Republican Party Chairman during the Presidential Primary Caucus in NV in 2016.  Stories from Idaho, Alaska and Utan claim similar fraud went down in those states.  The goal of those parties: to make sure Trump lost.  You may have read our articles from NV describing what happened to keep Trump from winning every electoral vote in NV.  It was the NV Chairman who set up the Caucuses and their locations.  It was the Chairman who pulled the trick of telling those who lived in Trump strong holds that there were no ballots "but wait an hour or so and we will get some."  A Trump supported later found there were plenty of ballots in a district chairman's car!  It was the chairman, Michael McDonald, who designed and executed the caucus for the Republican Party in NV. This is the surprising thing about that discussion: Schlapp said he is aware of the problems with the GOP in Arizona.  It's his experience that this is common in most states.  We took that to mean Republican state chairmen across America are like McCain: self-serving, wrong-headed and outright corrupt if necessary to keep the "little people" in line.

Consider our recent reports on the drama going on in Navajo County.  Until recently, the libertarians had taken over the Republican party since 2013. They blind-sided Chairman Karen MacKean who lostby 4 votes in that election.  Since then, there seems to be over $20,000 missing from the district coffers.  That case has been turned over to authorities for investigation. Most recently, a brawl broke out when Senator Sylvia Allen insulted the guest speaker by calling her a Nazi and Allen's husband called her a "stupid bitch."  Rumor has it that Sen. Allen is working with AZGOP Chairman to have her new group put in place as the formal Navajo County Republican District Committee.  If true and and actually happens, that would be unprecedented.  There are other methods to take over a district committee without going to those lengths. Given the rash of violations of the Bylaws by former Chairman Robert Graham and current AZGOP Chairman Lines, anything is possible.

In Yuma County, District Chairman Jonathan Lines refused to allow PCs to run for state committeemen, no nominations from the floor were allowed. Lines hand-selected the 17 people HE wanted to be state committee and moved to elect them all by acclamation. Many are his family members. Lines was running for state Chairman and was happy to cheat to any degree to help his campaign.  We would guess that every one of them voted for Lines for Chairman.  There were also 35-40 brand new PCs that showed up to vote for State Committeemen... and have not been seen since!

In LD15, Robert Graham's district, on election night, hordes of unknown and previously unseen newly minted PCs to vote in an Executive Committee of people long time LD15 PCs had never laid eyes on before that night!  Graham didn't bother to hang around to hear the results of the election... he fixed it and know what the results would be!

In the 2016 Arizona Senate election, a popular sitting Congressman from Arizona asked all candidates if they would drop out of the Senate race against McCain if he got in. It's well known that the only way to make a change in an elected seat held for years by the same person is to run only one, winnable candidate against the incumbent. This candidate has the name ID, the campaign experience and the money to win. Many people who knew about this felt that was the best thing to do in order to get rid of McCain.  Only Kelli Ward refused and lost to McCain as was expected.  The same thing is happening now in 2017.  Many have asked her to step aside for a more guaranteed winnable candidate.  She has no obligation to do that.  Except to get rid of McCain, which she couldn't do in 2016, and now Flake and then Sinema.  For us, it comes down to what matters and is best for our state and our country. Since that election, we discovered McCain has brain cancer and it may already be affecting his language and thinking skills based on recent votes and speeches.  He has said he will stay on the job.

Social media has been alive with calls to drop the Republican party as a lost cause.  Political parties seem to have a life of about 50-60 years, plus or minus, before they start to fail.  Donald Trump is not a Republican in the truest sense of the word from times past.  Rather, he's a pragmatist and some say nationalist with a sneer on their lips. Whatever label he prefers to use, he is the first President since the 80's to actually put America First.

The point is, how much longer will America survive elected lawmakers like McCain, Ryan, McConnell and all those who are more concerned with the money they are taking under the table than their own country?  We remember that the Founding Fathers foresaw this situation and did not want political parties to get a toehold.  However, the first political party was actually formed in 1792 by advisors to George Washington over a split between supporters of Alexander Hamilton and James Madison.  The name of the party?  Democratic-Republican!  That party splintered in about 1828, the Republican party became the Whig party, which eventually gave way to the Republican Party and given the moniker of GOP and was the anti-slavery party. Still is!  Our current government was eventually set up to be a two party system which is why Independents choose a party with which to caucus.  All told, America has undergone six political systems in her history.

What all of this means is that if history repeats, which if often does, it's about time for another shake-up in party politics.

At this point the country is already divided with one side being Patriots and the other side being Progressives.

Major elections are won or lost by which group is motivated to vote.  John McCain, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, etc. couldn't motivate anyone and thus guaranteed wins for the Progressive Liberals.  The establishment Republicans (progressives) were ready to hand the election to their queen - Hillary Clinton!  Anyone remember John McCain's glowing words of adoration for Hillary?

"DRAIN THE SWAMP!"

AND it's implied cleansing of our traditional, corrupt political class.

Here's how deep I think it is. We know it goes to the highest seats of power. But it also goes to the lowest. Just this year, I've seen those elected to the lowest in the party: chairmen/presidents of republican clubs, districts, issue oriented groups. Average people get elected as chairman, let's say, to a district and suddenly their desire for power comes right out. Ditto for women's republican groups and mixed gender groups. the head of the triangle wants everything their way, listens to no one, holds those trying to help in disregard mistreating volunteers. We know that many of those who climb the political ladder start as PCs or republican club board members. How do we clean that out? It's like a metamorphosis going on, like a snake sheds its skin. Underneath, you find a snake.

This is not rocket science. Republican politicians tell the populace what they want to hear, get elected, and then join the Establishment. McCain, AZGOP, US GOP Congressional leadership all fly that flag. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, hoping for a different outcome. How many times do you return to a store that mistreats you? Right. Now do the same thing with the Republican party. It's the only way they'll learn. Loyalty must have a limit. Leave before the country is lost. You can accomplish the same thing as an Independent without the R stigma.

The RINOs are everywhere and deeply embedded into the federal elite globalist progressives movement.  Some such as McCain are worse than others like FAKE Flake.  But there are signs of encouragement.

The Senate passed a budget bill.  Trump is winning with de-regulation, etc.  Some of the RINOs will begin to move towards being a real Republican - some will never budge and need to be tossed under the bus.

I do believe the democrats and progressive / globalist RINOs are treading water and losing energy slowly sinking into the abases of the swamp.  I doubt they will drown as most swamps are not that deep.  But the political swamps today in America are very deep.  We need to keep our focus on patriotism and deflect the anti-America forces.  And anti-USA is taking the shape of all sorts of forms - Antifa, Communism, Islam, Muslim Brother Hood, corruption.

It will take many years and more than two or three general elections to clear the swamp, restructure the Republican party.  For now party unity is only exercised by the Democrats defending the wrongs and corruption of the Obama years.  It only helps them to sink deep into the swamp.

Consider this - Maybe Trump and company have master the art of Rules for Radicals and using it against the mean stream media and the swamp dwellers.

I like your enthusiasm, but I believe you're chasing a falling star. McConnell and Ryan are the leaders that are not listening and going by the democrat play book. The only way to wake them up is through a magnum shift away from the R Party. The only reason a COS will be successful is that voting has not worked. Independent is the only one big enough to effect change at this stage of Trumps engagement. The swamp will continue under Trump because the deep state it too entrenched.

Let's remember that we focus on those we can't do anything about, those at the top of the ladder. Until some unconstitutional law is passed that people inform themselves of the issues before they can vote! Those we can do something about is right here in our yard.

Start by not electing district officers who tend to go on power trips; republican clubs that connive to stay in power,etc. County and district chairs often rise to the top vis-a-vis Graham, Pullen and now Lines. Republican clubs also connive to grab power. That's how the game is played and why we keep getting terrible politicians. It starts in the bottom. If that wasn't true, why are the dems teaching anti-constitution "principles" to 3rd graders on up?

I do not understand how living in a country with its democracy established over 200 years ago, and now, for the first time in history, suddenly we have one of our former presidents set up a group called "Organizing for Action" (OFA).
 
OFA is 30,000+ strong and working to disrupt everything that our current presidents administration is trying to do. This organization goes against our Democracy, and it is an operation that will destroy our way of governing. It goes against our Constitution, our laws, and the processes established over 200 years ago. If it is allowed to proceed then we will be living in chaos very much like third world countries are run. What good is it to have an established government if it is not going to be respected and allowed to follow our laws?
 
If you had an army some 30,000 strong and a court system stacked over the decades with judges who would allow you to break the laws, how much damage could you do to a country? We are about to find out in America!
 
Our ex-president said he was going to stay involved through community organizing and speak out on the issues and that appears to be one post-administration promise he intends to keep. He has moved many of his administration's top dogs over to Organizing for Action.
 
OFA is behind the strategic and tactical implementation of the resistance to the Trump administration that we are seeing across America, and politically active courts are providing the leverage for this revolution.
 
OFA is dedicated to organizing communities for "progressive" change. Its issues are gun control, socialist healthcare, abortion, sexual equality, climate change, and of course, immigration reform.
 
OFA members were propped up by the ex-president's message from the shadows: "Organizing is the building block of everything great we have accomplished.  Organizers around the country are fighting for change in their communities and OFA is one of the groups on the front lines. Commit to this work in 2017 and beyond."
 
OFA's website says it obtained its "digital" assets from the ex-president's re-election effort and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting and tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as AMERICA.
 
Paul Sperry, writing for the New York Post, says, The OFA will fight President Donald Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House."
 
Sperry writes that, The ex-president is setting up a shadow government to sabotage the Trump administration through a network of non-profits led by OFA, which is growing its war chest (more than $40 million) and has some 250 offices nationwide. The OFA IRS filings, according to Sperry, indicate that the OFA has 32,525 (and growing) volunteers nationwide. The ex-president and his wife will oversee the operation from their home/ office in Washington DC.
 
Think about how this works.. For example: Trump issues an immigration executive order; the OFA signals for protests and statements from pro-immigrant groups; the ACLU lawyers file lawsuits in jurisdictions where activist judges obstruct the laws; volunteers are called to protest at airports and Congressional town hall meetings; the leftist media springs to action in support of these activities; the twitter sphere lights up with social media; and violence follows. All of this happens from the ex-president's signal that he is heartened by the protests.
 
If Barack Obama did not do enough to destroy this country in the 8 years he was in office, it appears his future plans are to destroy the foundation on which this country has operated on for the last 241 years.
 
If this does not scare you, then we are in worse trouble than you know.
 
So, do your part. You have read it, so at least pass this on so others will know what we are up against. We are losing our country and we are so compliant. We are becoming a "PERFECT TARGET" for our enemy!

Let's take a look back in time, say 2 years.  Who was one of the leaders of the Never Trump movement. Who wrote many columns about how such a misfit could run for president, who called Trump every word in the dictionary that meant "unfit?"  Who got on TV several times a week and put Trump down?  Oh, yes, that was Krauthammer.  Who figured out early on that Trump was our last best hope for America? Who got out in the hot summer weather to stump for Trump, walk neighborhoods, pound yard signs wherever we could and make 100s of calls for Trump? Not Krauthammer.  WE did that. Why is it Krauthammer the genius was giving aid and comfort to the Never Trump crowd while we "little people" saw through the bluster to the authentic man? NOW he wants to WARN US about Obama and his brown shirt army? OMG, Obama told us in his first 6 mo he was going to build a civilian army. Is Krauthammer just figuring that out? While Krauthammer is right, I don't like being lectured to by a never trumper on what trouble we are in and he and "they" did nothing but aid the enemy for nearly 2 years. some still do.  Krauthammer has money and friends with money. Why doesn't he round up those people and DO something about this mess he helped create?
