The Grand Old Party is about to commit suicide.

All this talk about Trump this, and Trump that, masks a far bigger political controversy. The Republican Party leadership in Washington, D.C., has fundamentally betrayed its constituents and they are about to learn that they’ve been double-crossed — for years.

Every Republican candidate’s stock speech sounds the same, the thunderous roar about a government out of control, federal spending out of control (insert charts and graphs and why, if you stack hundred dollar bills, they will reach the edge of the universe), federal taxes out of control (insert comparisons to socialist countries), the federal bureaucracy out of control (insert metaphors about chains, yokes, and the like), the family shattered with federal funding of abortion a crime against humanity (watch for it — there! The heart-wrenching sob), and our military is emasculated.

Two more items were added to the menu, courtesy of Obama. Obamacare Will Be Repealed! and Illegal Immigration Will Not Stand!

In 2009, the Democrats controlled everything, partly due to the Republicans’ cowardice on Capitol Hill, and in part because of some of the most inept candidates and campaigns America has seen in years. The Obama folks could have played it safe but went for socialist gold, using the power of the legislative and the executive branches (and later the judiciary, thank you Justice Roberts) to advance their agenda.

That included federal spending on a level unmatched in human history resulting ultimately in a $19 trillion in debt we simply cannot pay, and with so many tens of trillions of dollars in unfunded liabilities that “infinity” is not far behind. One seventh of the economy was confiscated by the federal government with the passage of Obamacare. Our national borders were declared open and discussions over our national sovereignty closed. And to top it off, the Democrats all but declared themselves above the law.

The GOP harrumphed that this would not stand, by God! If only… if only America would vote them into the majority.

In 2009, the Tea Party was born. The Grand Old Party was rejuvenated. Happy days were here again.

Just one year later, the Republicans captured the House, and with that, the power of the purse. They now had the authority to stop the insane spending on so many obnoxious and wholly unnecessary ventures. They could end Obamacare simply by not funding it.

Instead, under the “leadership” of John Boehner, it did absolutely nothing. Why, if only we had the Senate! Then we could take on the President!

[Editor: Nothing in this article is a surprise to anyone on AFA.  We have known this for years but hope springs eternal.  No more.  Perhaps you know that the idea of dumping the republican party is germinating across America.  Groups are forming up for the Constitution Party, The American Party, the America First Party and several others.  While we don't believe for a moment that 80% of our elected lawmakers are doing the right thing (the other 20% are yammering about the 80%), there is no hope of out-voting the republican and democrat parties unless groups get together.  So long as they are splinter groups, no matter their sincerity, they will be like spokes on a wheel without the wheel.  It's doubtful that the current republican party will survive for long.  Something will rise up to fill the void.  But what? Bozell?

The democrats are in even more trouble.  The time is ripe for a new party but a strong leader would have to step up and take charge of all the different ideas and groups.]

Ernest: One thing is clear; every informed voter needs to shun the two major parties, which are but two different wings of the "Banker Party," like the plague. I've know the latest Presidential candidate for the Constitution Party for many years. Darrell Castle is one of the finest men you could ever come to know.

IF Trump were to run on the Constitution Party ticket and issue a paper similar to the attached it would be great; if he could be kept alive.   As President Kennedy said in 1961, “We are at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind …" and unfortunately, both our military and civilian law enforcement personnel are on the side of our enemy! Everyone seems to be afraid to honor James 4:17 by doing what is riight or their oath of office! By an act of omission, every elected official I know of is supportive of the 5th plank of the Communist Manifesto and those seeking a New World Order and yet, I know of none that have been arrested for this treasonous act.

Excellent information.  Have you Walt joined the Article V Convention of States movement?

Part of that "cowardice on Capital hill" was the fact that Pelosi removed the long standing House "fairness rules" and the process of allowing amendments to a House bill ... http://humanevents.com/2009/01/05/pelosi-erases-gingrichs-longstand...  ... With that the Republicans became "the Party of No" ... no answers .. no legislative alternatives ... and no actions. Bipartisan "cooperation" was a thing of the past pushed by ONLY Democrats. Yet the Republicans stood by just waiting for themselves to take back control in the House, which we did in 2010, but then they didn't fight with P A S S I O N against this Satanic evil in DC when 70 members of the House were self avowed Socialists. If we could unite, if we will unite against Evil, then we may change the course of world events ... but that is a HUGE if ... for can Trump can dig us out of this blood parasitic quicksand hypocrisy within our American family? Doubts remain.

In reality, hasn't the Republican Party has been dead since at least 1914? Key provisions of a Republic are a government of, by and for the people and elected representatives carrying out their constituent's will. This changed with the passage of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. Since then, both parties have supported installation of the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto to govern us by.

Had the "Republican Party" been fleshed out with true Republicans rather than RINOs America wouldn't be what it is today. It's past time for people to accept that government's PURPOSE is to secure for us our unalienable Rights, that any act designed to diminish or destroy anyone's ability to enjoy a Right is an illegal act, that those responsible for the act's passage and/or perpetuation are criminals and in that since many of the unconstitutional acts were taken on behalf of the financial/industrial cartel seeking a New World Order, the acts amount to adhering to enemies of the Constitution which by definition is Treason. America is a lawless nation where politicians are concerned!

We have two options for restoring the rule of law and subsequently, the Republic.

1. Elect true Republicans regardless of their party affiliation rather than RINOs.

2. Return America to being a nation of laws rather than continue as a lawless nation so far a politicians go by whatever means are necessary.

The success of either option is contingent on unity on key actions by millions of Americans for as Medori Severi said: "until we abandon our manifold private agendas and unite, we will merely be hapless observers standing at the bottom of a dark, deep pit, wistfully hoping to save the world, but really doing little more than breaking the fall of compatriots who are pushed in on top of us. Only by uniting in a common effort devoid of subjective paradigms will we be able to mold the human spirit upon which we may ascend to freedom....."

Another worthy quote came from Gillaume Pitt who said: "every meeting, every conference, and every conversation is a failure that does not produce an army. The first requisite of an army is to subscribe to service...."  Though I think, hope and pray that every AFA member seriously wishes to restore the Republic I'm disappointed in what I see as a lack of discussion on how to "produce an army."

Walt and all.  I can tell you that there are private conversations going on around this state as well as around the country.  Talk creates a plan but people and money implements it.

To the AFA crew: I pray the private conversations prove fruitful. When the late Gov. Mecham, Sen. Rogers et al developed the CNC plan (http://thecnc.org/Documents/RestoringGovernment.htm) some 25 years ago we developed it based on some strong beliefs (facts) which we believed must be used as a foundation for any effort to restore the Republic. The adoption of these or a similar set of facts are needed to secure the moral high ground. Some are cited in the position paper at http://thecnc.org/Documents/Core.htm. We also took the position that the key to America's future rests with the local teams (zip code level or below) which must perform many missions; not the least being a means to bypass the major media. (see http://thecnc.org/Documents/1776.htm).

If you are in touch with those in private conversations please consider suggesting they study the above links and http://thecnc.org/Documents/LawfulGov.htm. Doing so might save them some valuable time.

It doesn't take an organized army or may be I should say it should not require an army.

Trump is returning America to a nation of laws.  There are two problems.

1. The politicians and courts are following an interpreted U.S. Constitution.  For example the judge in the case against Sheriff Joe ignored the constitution regarding the right to a trial by jury.  A more scholar constitutionalist could also tell you the charges against Sheriff Joe did not belong in a federal court.

2, American voters are not well educated on the founding principles and the constitution.

I agree with Walter in that the Marxist manifesto especially the 5th plank has been unduly influencing both parties.  We the people in the states have not exercised our constitutional power in part because a huge majority of voters do not know what that power constitutes.  An Article V convention of sates to propose amendments for ratification is the power available to reign in the federal government including implementation of term limits.

The first two administration departments to be disbanded should be the Secretary of Education and the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

There are over 2 million people that have signed the Article V call to change the U.S. Constitution.  That is not a big enough army because an army can not do what needs to be done.  Education of more voters to sign the Article V petitions will continue to grow.

Bruce: On any team dedicated to a common goal there will occasionally be disagreement. I don't agree Trump is " returning America to a nation of laws."  I wish he were but America's Supreme Law is that set forth in our Organic Constitution; the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights. The principles and procedures in all three of these documents are being trampled on with no visible action coming from Trump to address the most important issues of our time which include regaining control of our destiny. This demands exiting the UN, a constitutionally compliant monetary policy, and repudiating the unlawfully created debt that is a result of this policy.

At http://www.thecnc.org/Documents/Unconstitutional.htm you will find several unconstitutional acts that must be addressed that Trump has made no mention of.

I agree 100% and that fight or battle is still going on.  I was a Convention of States (COS) LD14 Captain for 3 years.  We finally got the Article V resolution passed and both representatives and senator from LD14.

The entire federal government, all 3 branches have not followed the U.S. Constitution intent but liberally interpreted it to justify the actions taken.  Have you joined the COS effort and support it?

Is the immigration laws of the country being enforced?  A lot better than Obama and the turn around support of law enforcement agencies is far improved.  Let me ask a few questions.

Are you a Republican Precinct Committeeman and State Committeeman?  Do you support the recall of AZGOP Chairman Lines?  Are you supportive or against the likes of McCain with money contributions from democrats and George Soros?  At you aware McCain is in control of the AZGOP?  Do you know Senate majority leader Mitch owns the Kentucky Republican state party?

We are in a full blown civil war!

Yesterday Frank Riggs made a presentation to the Payson Republican Club up here in Gila County. In his campaign for State Supt of Public Education, one of his planks is a strong commitment to reintroducing Civics as a top priority in our education system to prepare students to be good citizens and positive contributors to society.  This will help the next generation of voters, at least.  In the meantime, we must all fill the void for those generations preceding them by spreading the word on the importance of our Constitution and how it has been perverted starting 100+ years ago.  This should also include the critical need for a COS as the only realistic solution.  The Dems surely won't lead the effort; nor will the GOPe, for that matter.

How do we do this I have a Survey that I gave out to as many that I could and 96% agreed Democrats and Republican so the people don't want this. Yet they continue to vote the way they do. The young people in school have been taught that America is bad they don't tell about how many the commies have killed.
