Our Father in Heaven,

This day we humble ourselves and ask your forgiveness for our sins against You

alone. We are weak and fallen creatures needing Your divine touch of restoration.

We have engaged in combat against an enemy instead of following your direction

to love one another.

More of us are now awakening to the fact that we are fighting against ourselves.

These are our brothers and sisters with whom we have a momentary disagreement

over an issue or a candidate. Lord, empower us with Your Spirit to fulfill Your will

for each of us.

Forgive us for failing to believe Your Word affirming that You and You alone raise

up kings and remove kings. Forgive us for not trusting Your promise that You

indeed work ALL things together for good for those who love You and are called

according to Your purposes.

Father, bring each of us to our knees with sorrow for offending You. Grace us with

Your Spirit that we may trust again. We live to please you now here on earth and

forever more in Paradise with You face to face.

Bless our patriots, our military and all our families. Bless those now serving in

elected office throughout our land. Bless all of the men and women running for

elected office this year. And grant us Your strength that we may walk worthy before

You and our fellow man; that observers will be compelled to ask, why we are so

different from others in the political marketplace to which You have called everyone

sharing in this prayer.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

The Past Foretells the Forthcoming

It is a new year but let's look back to the past for some perspective. Change seems to be the one constant. Over the years we have seen not only changes but actually a revolution in our moral thinking portrayed by our nation. Revolutions have been…Continue

Christmas day is almost here. I love the season, the lights, the trees, the smells, the cold temperatures, the family gatherings and the food. But Christmas is about Christ. It is about a lost and found mission motivated by love. We were lost and…Continue

Wisdom from Above

Wisdom can come from unlikely places. Eric Hofer, a California longshoreman turned educator, reminds us that "You can never have enough of what you don't really need." Christmas, contaminated with westernized commercialization, has confused us as to…Continue

Great to hear you have Kelleigh up in here! I'll run into her work here sooner or later.

I was responding to a comment that did refer to US as a democracy. Didn't mean to start anything. You are so correct about HRC.

Yes, Sam.  There are far too many conservatives who do not understand the difference between a Republic form of government ( ours) and a democracy ( others that have not yet slid into socialism!)  AFA

Sam: thanks for the kudos.  Just another correction: AFA is well aware that we live in a Republic created by our Constitution and unique in the world. Others are still learning that.  You will not find any original articles by AFA on this site that refers to our country as a democracy.  We vote as a democracy and that is where it ends.  Or, is supposed to!  But not if Hillary gets elected.  She does not believe in our Constitution so far as we can determine.

We have re-posted several of Kelleigh Nelson's articles and that includes a series that we think is remarkable: Enemies on the Left False Friends on the Right.  You can do a search and find links to that series.

I want to say that I very much LIKE this site & this blog. Thank you brother for the prayer above. I agree In Jesus' Name.
My 1st choice was Rand Paul. I had been supporting his Dad before. I watched as Ron was buried by 0bamaSuperPAC fringe stream media, now HillarySuperPAC fringe stream media, including Fox 'News'.  When Rand dropped out I went to Ted Cruz.
As I was researching Cruz I ran into Kelleigh Nelson from She exposed the real Lyin Ted to me, as did the  DC Clothesline site.
After being terribly fooled & disappointed by Lyin Ted I went to Trump. Yeah, DJT isn't perfect, who is? We are electing a POTUS, not a priest.
Look up
Kelleigh Nelson Archives Of Course Donald Trump Isn't Perfect
for a side of the Donald not well known. Copy & paste the phrase above.
This is a very good blog. But with respect I offer a very important correction. The USA is not a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic that incorporates democratic principals.  I urge everyone to look up the difference between the two. There is a very big difference between a republic & a democracy.
Thank you & God bless.

Hi Lord, it's me.  We are getting older and things are getting bad here.Gas prices are too high, no jobs, food, and heating costs too high.I know some have taken you out of our schools, government, veteran's funerals, and even Christmas. But Lord I'm asking you to come back and re-bless America. We really need you!  There are more of us who want you than those who don't!Thank You Lord, I Love you.   "Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point."  Amen

Jeremiah 18:13-17  King James Version

13Therefore, thus saith the LORD, Ask ye now among the nations {heathen}, who hath heard such things; the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing. 14Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field? Or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken? 15Because My people hath forgotten Me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up; 16To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth by it {thereby} shall be astonished, and wag his head. 17I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

The election is over and for the most part, Arizona voted the right way.  We didn't get what we wanted in the Presidential election but that is the very reason we must stay in prayer even more.

Oh Lord, my Rock and Redeemer, I want the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart to be pleasing in Your sight! Guard my heart against thinking that opposes the words I utter in prayer! Keep me from being a double-minded person, doubting with my mind the very things that I am asking! Help me to be aware whenever I am tempted to doubt Your ability to hear and answer! May what I think and what I say be always in complete agreement so that You are pleased to respond to intercession that comes from a pure heart, filled with trust.

Prayer Points

Praise the infinite God who has no beginning and no end. Thank God that with him all things are possible (Lk. 1:37). Confess any lack of faith concerning God’s ways and works. Commit yourself anew to living obediently before God. Ask him to keep your eyes focused on Jesus.

Pray for justice and righteousness to come to the nations of this world which seek to block the work of the Lord (Ps. 2:1-2). Ask that their rulers will bow to Jesus and begin to serve him (2:10-11; Isa. 60:3).

Day 40, 40 Days of Prayer for our Nation

“This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.” –Isaiah 66:2

All too often, Americans are looked at as arrogant or prideful. Years ago, there was a book entitled The Ugly American that told of how Americans in the Foreign Service often perpetuated that view. It is time for a new reputation for Americans; one that is in line with what God desires for all people.

Prayer Points

• Humble yourself before the Lord in prayer this day.

• Recognize the great need you have to be one who trembles at the Word of God.

• Pray for another Great Awakening to sweep the nation as the Lord’s people learn to humble themselves with a contrite spirit, and to tremble at the Word of the Lord.

My Prayer

Oh, Lord, forgive us for our arrogance. We humble ourselves before You today. Forgive us of any pride. Help us to walk in humility before You and others. May a contrite spirit mark our lives continually. Teach us what it means to tremble at Your Word. Revive Your people, Lord. May another Great Awakening come to this nation as we walk in humility and contriteness before You!

Heavenly Father, Your Word says that Your desire for us is peace and not evil, to give us a future and a hope.  Without You we have no hope.  But through the blood of Jesus Christ we have been redeemed and are a people with a rich inheritance, if we will only acknowledge the One true God.  America has all but kicked You out.  We ask You to forgive us for that, and to restore us once again to a nation that honors You.  Your Word says, “Hope thou in God.”  We place our lives, our country, our children, all that we are in Your capable hands, acknowledging that we are a weak people.  In You, our weaknesses, You are made strong.  We ask that You outstretch Your mighty arm and cover us with Your righteousness.  May the bright hope for tomorrow grant us peace for today.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

The best in books to make every conservative start thinking in new ways about America and the world being controlled by the Obama Administrations AND Republicans and Democrats.  Some surprises are in store for those who look!

Suppose the earth and its inhabitants exist in order to identify just what causes mankind continually to suffer so many troublesome problems and afflictions.
