We have wondered just who, exactly, is the Freedom Caucus.  Maybe you have wondered too. It's a secret group to most of us and even YOUR Representative might not tell you if they belong to this shadowy group.  One would think that in this day and time, they would be proud to have it known. But the truth is that not all who claim to be a part of that group actually vote as conservatives. How embarrassing to be known as a Freedom Caucus member and then vote for Ryancare.

We read Ryancare in its first form and even though there was some haggling going on, some sweet concessions to the weaker members to entice them to vote for a really horrible re-hash of Obamacare that would have had the same implosion characteristics as the original, some of the brave had the guts to bypass Trump's desire to vote for it.  We believe that Trump was bushwhacked by Priebus and Ryan, close friends for years.  There were rumbles that Trump came to the conclusion toward the end that it was a very bad bill.  By then, he had locked in his support for it.  Hopefully, lesson learned. He trusted the wrong people.

So, we ask, where was Ivanka?  Where was Jared Kushner on this? Did none of those trusted insiders read the bill either?  Where was Bannon?  Everyone of these people better do a better job of stepping up to the plate the next time.

Below is a list of the known members of the Freedom Caucus.  Not all of them qualify as staunch conservatives in our book!  And we know that only about twelve actually stood firm against the Ryancare bill. Rep. Poe, from the Houston area, at least had the honor and good sense to resign from a group that was conservative while he is moderate.  Others should drop the charade and do the same.  Some of them in Arizona who were a YES on this bill!  Shame on them.

Note the lack of women in this group!  Why is that?

But if Trump at the end really did realize that he was led astray by Ryan and Priebus, et al, on a bad bill, why would he then publicly chastise several Conservative congressmen who voted No on said bad bill?

I'm inclined to think Trump made a deal with Ryan during the campaign or possibly just after the election to give Ryan control of the healthcare legislation and provide him full support in exchange for Ryan cooperating on other initiatives,  I hope Trump learned his lesson.  But he surely has a blind spot for his daughter and son-in-law, however Liberal they may be.

Rep Paul Gosar called into the James T Harris show KQTH 104.1 in Tucson right after the vote and a lot of mis-information was floating about.  Then called in again on Monday 3/29.  It is worth the time to listen to both interviews,  Gosar spills the beans

Can you pls provide a summary?  Being from Payson, I'm on his newsletter distribution list, but I am curious and would rather not wait.  Thanks.

("His" being Gosar's)

Thx for the link, Joanne. Worth listening to. I'm not as cynical as Walter but he sure makes some good points. As to Mike, no, it can't be summarized.  Except to say Ryan ran a scam but we all knew that. You have to listen to find out how.

Am I being "cynical" or simply realistic? Having been raised to be as honest as I can be, to deal with facts rather than emotions, and having worked as a test engineer for several years I've always tried to set my rose colored glasses aside and call a spade a spade. I see America's problem as being people's failure to acknowledge the importance of James 4:17 and to honor it by doing what is right. Had our elected officials, law enforcement personnel, clergy, and educators done what is right we might not be living under the ten planks of the Communist Manifesto. But as it is, I can't help but conclude each of our elected officials are communist sympathizers it not card carrying members.

I see the "Freedom Caucus", like so many things in government, to be one big fraud designed to hoodwink Americans. So long as the U.S. is committed to supporting U.N. policies generated by the bankers for whom the U.N. was created to be their global governing body and so long as we have a monetary policy that's in conformance with the 5th plank of the Communist Manifesto and that is designed to assure we are in economic bondage and so long as our Congress pretends our unlawfully created and unpayable public and private debt of over $100 trillion is for real there can be no "freedom" for Americans. If any member of the "Freedom Caucus" was serious about wanting Americans to be free he would introduce legislation addressing the unconstitutional acts designed to enslave us. Will this ever happen? I doubt it but if it happens we will probably have President Trump to thank; not the members of the "Freedom Caucus" who, whether because of their lack of knowledge or intent, have never done anything to "free" us.

When I hear Trump say that he "wants all Americans to have health Insurance" I cringed ... at what price Mr. President? The "price" that lays out Trillions of Dollars for a piece of insurance paper ... is bought and paid TO the Insurance lobby by Tax credits and big government subsidies? We humans are fine machines that do break down, and yes sometimes its due to habits of consequences paid for later in life, but when the cost of government expands, we all lose our liberty to choose for our own self-interest. That is the intent, the plan, and the cost of our enslavement to the statist socialist collective agenda. The stealing of our "wealth" will not keep us safe FROM government, for our national debt expansion MUST slow, or we will no longer be a sovereign nation and citizens, we will be the serfs and indentured servants of government. Mr. Trump are you still "an outsider" looking out for our best interest at a lower cost?

Are we not already serfs or indentured servants? According to the Dept. of Treasury, the actual creation of money always involves the extension of credit by private commercial banks" and "money to pay the interest on borrowed money comes from the same source other money comes from."

Bottom line: This monetary policy - which is unconstitutional as the Constitution says Congress is responsible for creating our money and regulating the value thereof - can only result in the owners of the Federal Reserve System (FED) one day holding title to all real wealth of their choice, a mortgage on the remainder and a claim on all future production. Fact of the matter is that they already do! Think you own your home? Try not paying your property taxes for three years and a representative of the true owner will show up to auction it off.

Right you are ... all one has to do is read the ink on the dollar bills ..."This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private. That "note" is an IOU payable to the owner of the notes ... the Federal Reserve .... and all purchased with it is owned by them (it) NOT "We the People" who work for dollars.

The book "None Dare Call It Conspiracy" by Gary Allen in 1971 spells it all out.

Richard Nixon made sure this conspiracy would last by removing the USA from the Gold Standard and increasing government spending where Obama was the worst.
