Its surprising how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit
From Jennifer Reynolds:
The K-12 budget bill HB2663 for SB1521 passed last night with much deliberation back and forth on both sides. Governor Ducey signed this bill this morning. Schools continue to remain closed today, for many schools, despite this bill being passed. Many parents are frustrated and jumping through hoops to find alternative activities for their children who have now missed 6 days of school. It varies district to district on the plans for Senior graduation and making up missed school days so visit your local school districts website for more information.
Representative Becky Nutt sent me a good summation of what was passed in HB2663, the Budget for 2019, and a letter she sent out to her constituents in LD14 (see attached). I sent her two graphs showing that more money to schools does not ensure higher performing students which you can also find on my website (http://www.reynoldsnet.org/commoncore/Money_Trail.html). There are some accountability measures in this bill for teacher salary reporting on district and charter school websites, new construction projects or rebuilds and approval processes, etc. Read the full version of this bill here:
