2012 - AZ Legislative Report

This report includes about 60 bills that our Rapid Response Team tracked during the 2012 regular legislative session. At the request of many of you, the 2012 report is in a format substantially different than that of the 2011 report. For 2011 we simply provided whether the bill passed or not and whether the governor signed or vetoed it.

For 2012 we have included the actual vote numbers. For example, SP 20-8-2 means that the bill passed in the senate by a vote of 20 for and 8 against, with 2 not voting.

Additionally, clicking on the vote result links you to the actual tally of votes so that you can see how each member voted on that particular issue. This information could be valuable in determining the sincerity of some politicians. They some times make claims that do not match their votes. If you want more information on any bill, just click on the bill number and that will link you to that bill's portion of the AZLEG website.
