We dare you...

An 11-year-old boy visited Normandy last June to pay his respects to the fallen WWII soldiers at Omaha Beach for the 70th Anniversary of D-Day.

As part of a project, called “Project Vigil,” the boy, dressed in a soldier’s uniform from WWII, trekked down to the beach and planted the American flag in the sand. He snapped his elbow to his forehead in a salute to those who lost their lives on the bloody sands of Omaha beach.

He held the salute for an hour and a half.

He only stopped once…Why?

I'm not taking that dare. I am so proud to be living in a country where a young 11 yr old boy feels such patriotism. Thank you, Dr. Rapaki for making this available to AFA to post.
