Its surprising how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit
[Editor: WARNING!!!! Don't hurt yourself laughing at this one! Isn't it time the USA stopped supporting this useless piece of trash?]
According to an opinion column in The Washington Post by Dana Milibank, the Trump administration received a five-page memo from the United Nations warning of potential human rights violations. The letter says that if Obamacare is repealed and millions of people lose their healthcare, it could be a violation of international law.
The United Nations has a guiding secular philosophy of “universal human rights” that has set the standard for discussion of world affairs since World War II. This philosophy has been laid out in numerous documents, but it is most famously embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, written after the end of World War II.
The motivations for creating this document were well-intentioned, but it’s questionable whether all these proposed human rights have a sound basis, or how they can be enforced.
International law is a confusing concept, because without an international police force to back up its mandates, in what sense is it actually law? The United States has the most powerful military on the planet and no army on earth can police the U.S. short of starting World War III.
The letter is an “urgent appeal,” basically pleading with the administration to not leave millions uninsured. This action could violate “the right to social security of the people in the United States,” a right set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
[Searching for a place where the UN decried the gassing of Syrian civilians by ASSad - an actual "human rights violation" but the dead won't need Obamacare!]

",,,no army on earth can police the U.S. short of starting World War III." Starting and WINNING that war. Even more ludicrous.
These are the same people that claim you have no right to self defense therefore no reason to have a weapon.
Boy Boy were not all nuts what a relief it is to be proven right. Global communism our over 100,000 Korean and Vietnam veterans dead only to be sold out by our own leaders. They all belong in prison starting with George Herbert Walker Bush.
"The boy who is going to make a great man must not make up his mind merely to overcome a thousand obstacles, but to win in spite of a thousand repulses and defeats." - Theodore Roosevelt
Your RIGHT. In this "new world order healthcare bill" ... it still allows the insurance Cabal of Thieves to get a whopping 30% premium "surcharge" if an insured drops out for more than 63 days FOR ANY reason (a policy lapse), then tries to re-enter a policy. There it is a "new" value added tax on a government approved ... entitlement right ... that will never be taken away without "chaos" in the streets. How about the provision that charges the older citizens with HIGHER premiums than the young ... by as much as they'd like. Sounds like a rouse to me.
What you are seeing is a resurgence of Fascist government partnerships with certain companies at the expense of the citizen and any company which does not participate. We have all heard the term "Public Private Partnership" yes? This is the definition of what Hitler and others experimented with in the 1930s. Not much difference from Communism in actual practice it allows the Corporations to exist and make good profits as long as they partner with the government. Obama was an expert at this and much of the money wasted during his tenure went to partners in his schemes to reinstate this type of government in place of our Republic. Obama care is just one of the examples many of the others were done without additional legislation like with the solar business's he partnered with. I wonder where his share of the profits are banked for future use, I am sure none of it ever accrued to the government bottom line.
The U.N. is more than a "piece of trash." Our government was created for the PURPOSE of securing people's inalienable rights. Therefore, any government Act designed to diminish or destroy anyone's ability to enjoy a Right is an unlawful Act. And our entry in the U.N. did exactly that. It purported to give the U.N. the authority to redefine the Rights we have under the Constitution. Clearly, those responsible for theoretically subordinating our Constitution to the U.N. and the perpetuation of this crime are criminals. They are guilty of a variety of crimes found in Title 18 of the U.S. Criminal Code. In that the U.N. was established to be a governing body for the world on behalf of the "supranational" authority (group of bankers) wanting to create a New World Order that amounts to a global prison, the Act to subordinate the U.S. to the U.N. is not only unconstitutional but an Act of Treason. The Act was and is an effort to "aid and abet" or "adhere" to an enemy of the Constitution which, by definition is Treason.
Unfortunately, America has become a lawless nation so far as politicians go. To them, our Constitution, as President G.W. Bush screamed, is nothing more than a "Goddamn piece of paper." For many reasons, politicians are immune from the law. If Trump wishes to "Make America Great Again" America must be in control of its own destiny. This demands exiting the U.N., bringing monetary policy into compliance with the Constitution and repudiating the unlawfully created and in payable debt we theoretically owe the FED. Have you heard him talk about these needs? Neither have I. And in looking at those appointed to his cabinet it becomes quite clear he is but another in a long string of presidential puppets.
There are no words to describe my disappointment in him. I'd like to have the money I contributed to his campaign and my vote back.
One huge mistake on what you said ... our Declaration of Independence called our rights unalienable ... not inalienable! There is a huge difference. The SCOTUS case of Morrison v. State, Mo. App., 252 S.W.2d 97, 101. states you CAN surrender, sell or transfer "inalienable rights" if you consent ... either actually or constructively. Well we Americans HAVE NOT authorized this transfer to power to government, and our Constitution empowers us to limit that government !! Even the words at the Jefferson Memorial has the words “inalienable” … which is wrong.
Thanks you John. I stand corrected.
I will continue to say: those crybabies who whine because Trump has not satisfied their personal agenda are an embarrassment. 5000 problems, to be conservative, created over the past 35 years and Trump is supposed to solve everyone of them in 100 days. Of course, he has a very cooperative Congress so maybe he should have solved all of America's problems in fewer than 100 days. Yeah, Hillary would have been better. Never in my memory has one president faced such unprecedented obstruction. He doesn't even have his full cabinet approved yet! He's trying to shove the filth left over from years of corruption out the door to be replaced with ______(fill in the blank) He has talked about pulling out of the UN. He has criticized them and thinks they are useless but until that can be done, it's not a battle he's got time to fight right now amongst the myriad of battles he's already fighting. We should thank our lucky stars he's our president and not Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz or Hillary Clinton. But, oh, no, let's just pile on with the democrats and Paul Ryan republicans and beat the crap out of him so we can feel better about feeling disappointed. Just my 2¢ worth
