Phoenix Politiccs

News about what is happening in Phoenix, the most liberal city in Arizona, and that's quite a feat in itself.  What happens in Phoenix does not stay in Phoenix.  It spreads out to engulf those living in other communities and even in rural areas as so many of those in outlying counties come to Phoenix on a regular basis to shop and conduct other business.

Lots going on in Phoenix:

New Mayor  Thelda Williams -- very pro-POLICE, and very much on board with repairing and updating infrastructure and roads

New Vice Mayor Jim Waring,

New Vice

Rumors are that there will be two open seats when two resign to run for Mayor!!

Folks, does anyone have any info on how our city of Phoenix uses its neighbor hood services department as a form of HOA, it seems they are allowed to go thru your streets to check for grass or weeds that exceed there allowable height etc., you get a violation that is backed up by the city proscecuter, thus the city is generating funds as an HOA would do, regardless if you belong to an HOA or not. this dept is under the city managers dept. Anyone else seeing this being done????

When the Arizona 2012 Elections committe  started we were small in numbers, but with very didicated and most were VERY hard worker B's.  Because we were small we decided to concrentate on 2 of the CITY of PHOENIX races. In Januarary we had one mayor who heared his own drumbeat---we made several false starts with canidates who had warts are were not committed.

We chose DISTs. #1 and 2. To back Jim Waring if Peggy resigned to run for mayor and try to help him avoid a run off and to try to force Thelda Williams into a run off in # 1 and STAY out of the Mayors race in the primary.

We belive we were sucessful.

MR. Gullett embrace the reform points were intrested in an we WHOLE heartly are out on the streets working for he and Eric in Dist. #1 and in Distr # 5 where we back Ms. Brenda Sperdutti .  Please volunteer for these last 2 weeks in Eric and Brenda's campaigns, you will make a difference those of us who are working 4 hrs per day normally change 5-8 minds per day that is a swing of around 15 votes per volunteer per day---that is HUGE .

This would not have been posible with out the help of some vols from virtually every other TP in this great valley.  The involvement with WES Gs campaign has helped sooth some of the hard feelings with in the AZ REP. Party,  we will continue to close ranks as we move closer to Nov. 2012!!

Please volunteer, work to keep Pols. with socialist agendas homeless on the streets of the USA and out of PUBLIC OFFICE!!!!

Wright is Right for Phoenix

For the first time in decades, there is a viable conservative candidate running for mayor of Phoenix . Jennifer Wright scored a major victory by winning the battle of signature gathering. Those of us who were involved in the process can, and should, congratulate ourselves, pat ourselves on the back, and celebrate to our hearts content. But…

This is only the first round. We have a long way to go before we help elect a conservative mayor in Phoenix . The election will be August 30. On August 31 our thoughts will fall into one of two categories:

  • I am glad we did, or
  • I wish we had

How do we make sure that we are glad we did, instead of wishing we had? Here are some suggestions:

  1. Donate $: The first amendment is free, but exercising it is not. It costs money to place ads, erect signs, print literature, etc. If you can possibly part with a few bucks, please do so. Some of us may not be in a position to contribute, but most of us know someone who is. To donate simply go to:
  2. Use Social Media: It does not cost any thing to “like” her events or to share them on your wall.
  3. Walk Your Precinct: This election is going to be won (or lost) at the neighborhood level. The other side has the main stream  media, the big donors, the unions, and the government employees on their side. These are formidable enemies, but not as formidable as patriots working diligently at the grass roots level.
