"On Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, the City of Phoenix will conduct a Special Election in which registered voters will decide on two ballot measures that propose to amend City Charter provisions pertaining to Pensions and Light Rail.
The first measure,105, is a proposed Charter Amendment pertaining to Light Rail. The second measure, 106, is a proposed Charter Amendment pertaining to City of Phoenix Pensions."

When to vote?
City of Phoenix voting centers will be open for three days:
Saturday, August 24, 10am to 4pm;
Monday, August 26, 9am to 6 pm; and
Tuesday, August 27 (Election Day), 6am to 7pm.
Voter ID required.
"City voters on the Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) automatically receive early ballot by mail unless submitting a request to not receive a ballot by mail."
"The pamphlet is distributed the week of July 22, before early ballots are mailed out."

AFA is in favor of voting YES on 105, stopping light rail in its tracks:
- No light rail system in the country has become self-sustaining
I will be forwarding this to my list of 750, many of whom have lists of their own. We're gonna to defeat the 'Light Rail' again.
This "light rail" proposal will only transfer crime into areas where citizens don't need it. The rail station at 19th Ave & Camelback is always a point of altercation with police and "monitors" onboard the rail line. Beware of that.
