We've been putting up with Obama trampling the Constitution for 5 years.  Where were these publius huldah during that time?  Levin writes a book with a solution.  Suddenly these people rise up to say he's all wrong.  Levin is no dummy.  I watched the interview with Hannity and it was a very thoughtful interview.  I get cross when someone comes out with a possible solution and the naysayers come out of the woodwork.  Everyone is an silent expert until someone comes up with an original idea and suddenly, they are out there criticizing.  

This is the real problem with the conservative movement.  Everyone is a critic, no one is a problem solver.  So I read publius and Levin and it seems to me the solution is to DO SOMETHING.

She has been commenting, directing, writing the entire time.  Publius Huldah agrees - do something - but not amend the constitution.  The constitution is not the problem, the problem is those in DC and States that do not follow the constitution.  So if we start local and state level....state sovereignty....refuse federal mandates that are unconstitutional, take back OUR taxes instead of sending to DC...It is much easier to influence state legislators than federal, so if we VET and elect good conservatives in all the LDs we can accomplish.  We will need to focus on the LDs where we have rogue RINO republicans (even if it is not your LD) as each conservative we can elect will help the entire state.

Second part of my response would be - IF the republicans would DO what they promised then we'd have less problems and more people voting.  When they 'promise' and then come up with excuses, tactics, whatever, conservatives stay home.  Republicans 'gotta learn'.  Whether U like if or not, democrats DO what they say they R going to do; Repubs don't (of course not all of them, but the 9 senate and 9 reps supporting O-brewercare?) Follow the party platform...or what the voters said - NO Obamacare in Arizona; but they don't.  Make a promise...keep it.

I have been reading PUBLIUS-HULDAH's blog.  Most interesting,  what I can understand is that WE THE PEOPLE should have been using this method of NULLIFICATION from the beginning.  It states clearly in the Declaration of Independence (2nd para) is a "NATURAL RIGHT, which all admit to be a remedy against insupportable oppression."  At present we have a citizen who has taken on the task to Petition of Redress which he is presenting to all district school superintendents, and to the legislature up to the Governor.  This Redress addresses common core and the back-room tactics if was passed.  What it takes is a desire to commit, not to hope someone will step-up.  This is our state, and our country we need to remember," God is the granter of rights."

Karen - concur - we need to elect conservatives in AZ House/Senate and then push for nullification of any unconstitutional federal laws; that would include taking back our federal land-that feds promised to 'return' 7 have to some states, just not Arizona.  More info on the 'Petition to Redress'. please.

Petition of Redress initiated by Wes Harris, who is a true and brave Az. citizen.  He is on the campaign trail with Diane Douglas who is running against Superintendent John Huppenthal, the man who wants to change the name of common core to College and Career Ready.

Diane is a nice lady but is a poor candidate against JH.  What is needed is a candidate who has the knowledge and experience in the education field.  Huffing and eye rolling isn't a defense against JH's positions on education.  Someone else is probably going to get in the race, maybe several people.  I'm saying the 'average joe citizen' should be cautious about whose petitions they sign.  But what does this have to do with this group?  Don't we need to elect well qualified conservatives?

Yes we need to implement but the solution is not as simple as to DO SOMETHING.
First encourage everyone you know to be deducated on the and about the U.S. Constitution.  Take the internet course offered by Hillsdale College.  Second elect state representatives and state senators who do understand and are really willing to defend and uphold the U.S. Constitution.  Third ignore the naysayers as their purpose is to simply stop the notion of an article 5 state initiated convention to porpose ammendments.  Then persevere  as an article 5 convention has never occured in our history.

@Bruce: super comments and spot on.  Everyone is so used to being scared to do anything they haven't done before.  look at our current crop of federal elected officials - McCain, Flake, et all + all the other 424 (not counting ours again) stopped in their tracks from fear.  fearful they won't get re-elected, fearful that someone won't like them or might say something mean to them.  Bold.  we need bold action, save the country even if it costs you your cushy job and lifetime pension.  Which is another matter that must be fixed.
