Editorial Opinion

One thing we all have in common about opinions: everyone has one!  This is the place to write your opinion on any subject of interest to conservative readers.  Your opinions will not be edited nor must you get approval.  But the rules of the game prevail: no name calling or bomb throwing at fellow conservatives.  The enemy is not conservatives with whom you disagree so focus on candidates, elected officials, progressives, general topics that affect all of us in Arizona and America.

With the 2016 election cycle on the horizon, the shenanigans going on behind the scenes at the local, state and federal levels, there is no end of opinions that are valid and sometimes, game changing.  Every opinion has the potential to be the one that throws an unexpected light on an issue.

This is the place to post your opinions on a variety of topics, whatever is important to you.  It's unlikely that most of us can get a letter to the editor published in the AZ Republic.  But you can here.  AFA will feature some of them and blast out links to some of them.

So open up and let us hear what's on your mind.  Follow the simple rules posted above.

It's very easy to do: first, click +Join to get posting privileges and then scroll to the bottom of the Discussions section.  Click on Add a Discussion and add a title and then write in the big box what is bothering you.  Or what satisfies you.  Or what puzzles you.

As  lay person, there are many questions about this memorandum that do not seem to be being addressed by either the press or by the politicians. We need to know, clearly, when and where this supposed conversation took place. We also need to know the identity of any and all persons present at the time of the conversation. If only Trump and Comey were present at the time then it is purely a matter of recollection of the two parties. Was Comey making notes at the time of the conversation or were the reconstructed from memory at a later time? If so, when were they reconstructed? Did they set forth exact "words" used or were the words paraphrased? If the words were paraphrased, then they probably do not convey the conversation accurately. This would appear to be much-a-do about nothing.

I admit, I'm a recovering Republican. Upon convincing myself America's ills are the result of Acts exceeding the clear bounds of its jurisdiction under the Constitution  I gave up my role as a PC, accepted that both major parties are guilty of the unlawful Acts and pending a change to existing monetary policy upon which elected officials cling to like leeches is replaced with a Constitutionally compliant policy nothing will change.

Regarding Communism in the US: Americans are governed by the ten planks of the Manifesto. See

“Bumper Stickers, Shirts and Hats” RidersUSA Sept 2019

I try to wear some form of pro-Trump apparel as often as I can or at the very least to display my support of this President via bumper stickers affixed to my Harley and SUV. I can’t tell you the number of times since the 2016 elections when people have reluctantly approached me with an almost secretive demeanor. After their eyes carefully scan the immediate area to insure that no Trump detractors are within earshot, I’m often met with comments like, “I like your hat”, “love your bumper sticker” or “I support Trump as well”. The comments are much appreciated but I am always fascinated by the apparent shyness with which the compliment is delivered. Sometimes I’ll offer a free bumper sticker to the shy Trump supporter only to be met with “are you kidding me”? “I just don’t want to take the risk of having my tires slashed or my car keyed”!

The consistent withering attacks on Donald Trump by the media and political figures have indeed created an atmosphere of hostility towards this President and anyone who supports him. Not too long ago while shopping at a local Walmart and sporting my “Trump 2020” hat, I noticed a young employee who was sweeping the floor. He suddenly stopped and read the inscription on my cap and then made the familiar “scan” to see if anyone was within earshot. He assured me that he was a Trump supporter. He then made the exclamation, “Aren’t you afraid to be wearing that (hat)”? This was an apparent reference to Trump fans that have been harassed and even assaulted for openly supporting the President. The perfect “teachable moment” had arrived and I was happy to share my thoughts.

I proceeded to explain that the right to express our lawful beliefs was granted to all Americans by the blood and sacrifices made by our Military and generations of loyal, patriotic Americans. Without question, every American has the right to express their likes or dislikes without fear of retribution. To succumb to this fear is to retreat from what this nation is all about. It also serves to embolden the enemies of this nation in continuing the assaults on our Constitution, Liberties and Freedoms.

As a former Army Combat Vet I have fought Communism on the battlefield. It would be an insult to all who have made the ultimate sacrifice by allowing ourselves to be intimidated by a cabal of pimply faced, snot-nosed Communist inspired punks hiding behind face masks who live in their mother’s basements! The many wayward politicians and a complicit media who foster and support the wave of anti-American sentiment need to be challenged at every turn as they go about the dirty work of undermining this nation. The images and words we choose to promote our President are symbolic. They represent an integral part of our Constitution to “freedom of expression”. It is a basic American right to support whoever you damn well please!

Good friend and fellow RidersUSA member Tim Rafferty purchased his first MAGA cap at an August 2019 Trump rally in Taylor, AZ! You’ll get a “thumbs up” most of the time Tim, but when you get that first “bird” flipped your way know that you have done your job! You have given public notice that a free people cannot be cowered or silenced. Help to promote the President in winning a second term by proudly displaying a “Trump 2020” hat, shirt, flag and/or bumper sticker!

IF my vehicle is ever keyed for proudly displaying my Trump 2020 bumper sticker I pledge to paint a large sign on it proclaiming that the keyer is a liberal #*!$ and not use these polite code symbols. The trouble with too many “conservatives” is that they are afraid to speak up. Then they turn around, don’t bother to vote or become involved and condemn congress for doing the same thing.

I just read an article on The American Thinker website.  It clearly shows a a path forward for Trump to win the electoral college.  Of course it would be done on 6 JAN through VP Pence.  In my opinion this would be outstanding and a legal way to "win" back the election.

Please send this to everyone you know.  There are still people in the Legislature that are trying to sabotage the Forensic Audit by trying an initial sampling first.  The Dominion machines, as Jovan Pulitzer points out are programmed to give false results for random samplings. I sent this my my alert list of 800.  Nothing less than a 100% complete Forensic Audit will suffice.
