Its surprising how much you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit
We Precinct Committeewomen felt compelled to write letters to Chairman Mark Sensmeier and each member of the Yavapai County Executive Committee (1st Vice Chair Phillip Goode, 2nd Vice Chair Craig Kiggens, Treasurer Roger Reinsch, Assistant Treasurer Alex Harris, Secretary Ann Roper and Assistant Secretary Sandra Laney)
asking them to call for an emergency meeting of all the Yavapai County Precinct Committeemen to address the Committee’s action against the incumbent David Stringer, AZ House LD 1 during the contested Republican primary.
As we did not receive any type of communication from the Executive Committee, I made an inquiry with the Chair and found that that by a majority vote, they would not formally respond to the letter. The Chair stated that only he and the Treasurer Roger Reinsch voted to respond only later to correct this statement: He and 1st Vice Chair Phillip Goode voted to respond to our letter. The 2nd Vice Chair Kiggens was absent for the vote.
By not even extending this courtesy, it tells us that the E.C. is not willing to listen to their counterparts and are denying us the transparency of their actions which is a betrayal .
We will be encouraging grassroots Precinct Committee men and women to think long and hard before voting for individuals that served on the 2016 - 2018 YAVGOP board. Our leaders must be held accountable.
